This page lists firms whose own website offers MetaTrader 5, one of the platforms most often offered by the firms we track. MT5 supports Expert Advisors (EAs) written in MQL5, depth of market, multiple asset classes and a large library of custom indicators. EAs and indicators written for MetaTrader 4 do not run on MT5 without conversion, and a firm that offers MT5 may still restrict EAs or offer MT5 only on some accounts, so check its rules before you buy.

Trading conditions on MT5 differ between firms: spreads, commissions, execution and the symbols available are set by each firm and its technology or liquidity provider. Compare these on the firm's own pages and, where offered, in a free trial before you buy.

If you rely on specific MT5 features like multi-timeframe analysis, built-in economic calendar, or netting vs hedging account modes, verify that the firm's MT5 configuration supports your requirements. Some firms restrict certain MT5 features on their prop accounts.
