Why this list exists: Prop firm closures accelerated through 2024 and 2025, often with no public announcement and frequently with trader funds left unpaid. We track every firm we've ever covered — when one shuts down, suspends, or shows clear signs of operational failure, the entry stays here rather than disappearing. That way, traders searching for a firm name months or years later can still find an honest record of what happened. We classify based on our own research: domain liveness checks, trader-community signals, and direct review of each firm's status. "Under Investigation" means we're still verifying — we won't recommend any firm we haven't independently confirmed.
