Moneta Funded is a prop-trading firm that offers evaluations and instant-funded accounts. Its menu lists seven programmes: One-Step Daily, One-Step Challenge, Two-Step Challenge, Instant Funding, Instant Pro, Phoenix Instant and Sprint Challenge. The firm says it offers two platforms, MetaTrader 5 and Match-Trader.
According to the firm's comparison table, the profit split is 88% on most programmes and is shown as 60%/88% for Instant Funding. The Sprint Challenge works differently: you trade against a time limit, and if you reach the target the firm says you can "directly request your payout with 100% profit split".
The Terms and Conditions say all trading accounts are simulated, using demo or virtual funds. They name the operator as Moneta Funded Ltd, registered in St. Lucia under number 2025-00532. The firm says it is built and backed by Moneta Markets. We could not see a clear price list in the pages we saved, so this review does not give prices.
Everything in this review comes from Moneta Funded's own web pages, saved on 7–9 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Notes on the table:
We could not see a price list that matches prices to account sizes, so we do not quote prices. The One-Step Daily and Instant Funding pages show account sizes of $5K, $10K, $25K, $50K and $100K. The checkout page text we saved also showed an account size of $200,000, without saying which programme it belongs to. Pages showed a limited-time discount-code banner, so prices at checkout may be promotional.
The Terms say "The Fee for the Evaluation phase is payable in advance and in full before access is granted." The help centre has a section to "Manage payments and subscriptions". We could not confirm whether any programme is billed monthly.
The general rules page sets the profit target at 10% for Phoenix, 1-Step and 2-Step Phase 2, and 5% for 2-Step Phase 1. The target "is calculated based on closed positions, meaning it doesn't include floating/pending positions". For One-Step Daily, the firm says you can "Pass a single 3% target in as little as one day or one trade".
The general rules page says the daily loss amount is based on the initial account size, not the current balance or equity. The Terms say the daily loss limit resets after each daily snapshot. The general rules page also says customers cannot use their total available drawdown in a single trading day. It says breaking these rules results in the termination of the trading account.
The general rules page gives the maximum loss as 5% trailing of the initial balance for Instant and 8% trailing for Instant Pro. Under the Terms, a static maximum loss level stays fixed and does not rise as the account makes profit. A trailing level may move up as the account reaches a new highest balance or equity, and does not move down if balance or equity later falls.
The general rules page says: "We set the minimum profitable days across all challenges to 3 days." It also says traders must trade for at least 3 days in each phase, excluding Instant Funding. A day counts only if it makes a profit of 0.5%. The Terms say qualifying profitable days do not need to be consecutive.
The One-Step Daily page conflicts with the general rule: it says "Reach the 3% target with no minimum trading days." For One-Step Daily we follow its own programme page, as it is more specific.
The Instant Funding page says the programme has a 3% daily loss, 5% maximum loss and a 15%/20% consistency rule. It tells traders to "Avoid Exceeding 15%/20% or more profit on a given trading day". The Terms say consistency is calculated using the trader's best day of realised P&L.
The firm says Instant Pro has no consistency rule. Phoenix is described as having "Static drawdown and No consistency". One-Step Daily is described as having "No consistency rule, no minimum trading days, no fine print". The Instant Pro card also shows a "Max Profit per Day" of 4%; we did not see how this limit is applied.
The firm says "Traders have unlimited time to complete all Moneta Funded challenges." The Sprint Challenge is the exception: its timeframes are 1, 2, 4 and 8 hours. Our saved checkout text showed 1h, 2h, 3h and 4h options instead, so check the timeframes at checkout. The Sprint clock starts with your first trade, not when you buy the account. For all accounts, the general rules page sets inactivity at 30 calendar days: you must place at least one trade in any 30-day period.
The comparison table shows leverage of 1:100 for the Two-Step Challenge and 1:30 for the other programmes. Programme cards show the same figures as "Leverage: Up to 1:30" and "Leverage: Up to 1:100".
Programme pages mark news trading as allowed on Instant Pro and Phoenix. The comparison table marks news trading as not allowed on One-Step Daily, One-Step, Two-Step and Instant Funding. The Instant Pro page says "even news trading is allowed". However, the Terms and Conditions list "Placing trades immediately before or during the release of high-impact macroeconomic news events" among their trading-practice items. Our saved copy of the Terms does not show how this item relates to the two programmes, so check with the firm before trading news.
For the Sprint Challenge, the firm says: "News trading, gap trading, and market open and market close trading are not allowed."
The Instant Funding, Phoenix, One-Step Daily, One-Step and Two-Step cards say "Hold overnight/over-weekend allowed". The Instant Pro card says "Hold Overnight Allowed" and does not mention weekends.
The Terms and Conditions include a list of trading practices. Our saved copy contains extracts of the items but not the wording around them, so we quote the items as they appear. They include:
The platform comparison page says MetaTrader 5 has "Full support (EAs, custom indicators, backtesting)" and that EAs are not supported on MatchTrader. Taken together with the Terms item above, our reading is that EAs are permitted on MT5 only if you developed them yourself. The same page lists copy trading as built-in on MatchTrader and via third-party plugins on MT5. This sits uneasily with the Terms item on copy trading above; we could not see how the firm reconciles the two.
The Terms limit each trader to one Phoenix Challenge account. Only one Sprint Challenge can be active and tradeable at a time for each user.
The homepage advertises payout processing in under 48 hours. The Terms say payout requests are processed Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 7:00 PM (GMT+10), with a bank cut-off of 4:00 PM (GMT+10). After processing, crypto payouts may take up to 24 hours; the Terms give up to 3 working days for at least some other withdrawals (our saved copy breaks off there).
Payout methods named in the Terms are payouts via Rise, crypto payouts via Confirmo or another nominated provider, and transfer to Moneta Markets "with a Credit Bonus". Programme pages advertise "Double your payout!" if you choose Moneta Markets for your payout; we did not see the conditions. Where Confirmo is used, the firm says it covers the provider fees. International bank wires "may attract a minimum fee of 20 units of your trading account" currency, according to the Terms. Funds must be withdrawn by the same method and account details as the original deposit, and the firm cannot pay to third-party accounts.
The Terms say a trader who meets the Funded Trader Criteria receives a Trader Payment, subject to further verification and a separate Funded Trader Agreement.
Phoenix is the programme with a stated scaling path. The Phoenix page says that on hitting the 10% profit target, traders automatically graduate to the next level. It says you can apply your profits to the next level's starting balance or request payouts at up to 88%. It describes scaling up to $2M at Level 11. The Terms say a new account at the next level may be issued on scale-up.
Traders can use MetaTrader 5 or MatchTrader. The platform comparison lists MT5 on desktop, web and mobile, and MatchTrader on web and mobile with no install needed. It describes MatchTrader as "powered by TradingView". The firm states that MT5 is unavailable for clients from the USA and Canada.
The How It Works page says you trade "on Forex, indices, commodities and more". Pages list Gold, Silver, Oil, EURUSD, NASDAQr, GBPUSD, DJ30 and BTC under "Favorite Products". We did not see a full instrument list. The Terms state that "at no point will you trade in real-world financial instruments, i.e. CFDs, securities, or commodities."
The site footer names Moneta Funded Ltd, registered with the St Lucia Registry of International Business Companies under Registration No. 2025-00532. It gives the registered office as Ground Floor, The Sotheby Building, Rodney Village, Rodney Bay, Gros-Islet, Saint Lucia. The Contact Us page also shows an address at The Opus by Omniyat, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
The firm says it "does not operate as a broker and does not provide brokerage or financial services". It says it "solely provides simulated trading environments and educational resources for traders". The Terms add that the allocated funds have no monetary value and you are not trading in real financial markets. Fees paid are described as a subscription to take part in trading challenges, not client money.
The firm says it is "built and backed by Moneta Markets". This is the firm's own statement; we have not checked it.
The Terms say all fees are non-refundable "except as required by applicable law or within 14 days of the account". Our saved copy breaks off there, so we cannot state the full condition. The help centre has a section on "Processing payments and refunds".
The firm says it does not onboard residents of jurisdictions including Iran, Afghanistan, Thailand, Cuba, Myanmar, North Korea, UAE, Venezuela, Vietnam and countries on the FATF, OFAC and EU/UN sanctions lists. The Terms refer to a non-exhaustive list of banned jurisdictions in an annex. We did not see a statement on whether US residents are accepted, beyond MT5 being unavailable to them.
The firm describes who each programme is for:
One-Step Daily has the lowest daily loss limit in the comparison table, at 1%, with a 2% static maximum loss; the Sprint Challenge's maximum loss (0.3%–1.5%) is lower. Traders who need a clear price list, or who rely on news trading or copy trading, should check the current terms with the firm first.
MyPropGenius Rating:
The rating measures how openly Moneta Funded discloses its rules, pricing, payouts and ownership (our Transparency Index methodology). It does not measure how likely you are to pass or be paid.
Its pages say it does not operate as a broker and provides only simulated trading environments, and give the Saint Lucia company number. Its Terms say fees are non-refundable 'except as required by applicable law or within 14 days of the account', but we did not find the condition attached to that 14-day window. Its homepage gives only overall claims ('>200K Paid Out Monthly To Traders', '<48 Hours Payout Processing'); we found no dated payout records or payout page. We found no Internet Archive (Wayback Machine) copy of its homepage, and its pages give no founding or launch year (its 'over a decade' claim refers to the broker Moneta Markets), so we had no operating-history data.
Its Transparency Index score is 47/100 (Mixed). We do not verify payouts or test accounts; this is what the firm’s own pages show.

We have no commercial relationship with Moneta Funded. Links to its website are not affiliate links.
Moneta Funded sells seven programmes on simulated accounts, with an 88% split on most of them and a 100% split on its time-limited Sprint Challenge. Its rules are set out in detail, but pages conflict on the One-Step maximum loss, on minimum days for One-Step Daily and on news trading. We could not see clear prices, so check the checkout and the current Terms before you buy.
