Capital Mint Markets sells evaluations and instant accounts for trading CFDs on simulated accounts. Its About page lists "Five evaluation programmes (Mint Direct, Mint Vault, Mint Sprint, Mint Precision and Mint Ascend)" (the same page elsewhere says "Six evaluation programmes"). Mint Direct and Mint Vault are instant accounts with no evaluation, Mint Sprint and Mint Precision are one-step challenges, and Mint Ascend is a two-step challenge. The site also sells Minty Flash, a seven-day challenge it calls a limited-time promotion, and a newer instant account, Mint Freedom+.
The site names the operator as FNX Capital FZCO, trading as Capital Mint Markets, a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates. It says all trading takes place "in a simulated environment". Fees are one-time, with no monthly fee. The site advertises "Up to 90% Profit Split"; most pages show 80% as the base split, but the Our Rules page also shows a "70% base".
The firm's pages disagree with each other on several rules, including minimum trading days, payout timing, news trading, weekend holding and the maximum funded balance. We point these out below. Check the current rules page for your programme before you buy.
Everything in this review comes from Capital Mint Markets' own web pages, saved on 10 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

The Contact page lists a starting price for each programme. All fees are one-time: the General FAQs say "There is no monthly fee at Capital Mint Markets."
| Programme | Type | Starting price shown |
|---|---|---|
| Mint Direct | Instant, no evaluation | from $200 |
| Mint Vault | Instant, no evaluation | from $39 |
| Mint Sprint | One-step challenge | from $69 |
| Mint Precision | One-step challenge | from $59 |
| Mint Ascend | Two-step challenge | from $36 |
| Minty Flash | Seven-day challenge (limited-time) | from $9.99 |
The site was running promotions on most programmes when we saved it, and other pages show lower or different figures. For example, the home page also says Minty Flash runs "From $4.00". We could not confirm which prices are standard list prices, so treat these as indicative and check the checkout price.
Minty Flash comes in "$2,500, $5,000, $10,000, and $15,000." accounts. Mint Freedom+ comes in "Sizes from $5,000 to $100,000." and its page says every size carries a launch discount; we did not see its prices.
Paid add-ons listed on the Contact page include news trading ("+15% of fee, all programmes"), a daily drawdown increase from 4% to 5% (listed for "One Step & Two Step only"), and a higher maximum drawdown for Mint Ascend. A Challenge Fee Refund add-on returns the fee "with your third funded payout". The Minty Flash page says add-ons are not available on that challenge.
The How it works page sets out the main rules for six programmes in one table. The table below follows it, with the drawdown type taken from the rules and FAQ pages.
| Programme | Profit target | Daily loss | Maximum loss | Min. trading days | Consistency |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Mint Direct | None | 3% | 6%, trailing from the highest closed balance | None | 20%, to request a payout |
| Mint Vault | None | 3% | 8% "smart lock": fixed from the starting balance, locks upward after 5% profit | None | 15%, to request a payout |
| Mint Sprint | 10% | 4% (5% with add-on) | 10%, trailing | 3 | None |
| Mint Precision | 10% | 3% | 6%, static | 3 | 30%, in both phases |
| Mint Ascend | 8% (Phase 1), 5% (Phase 2) | 4% (5% with add-on) | 8%, fixed (10% with add-on) | 5 per phase | 40%, on the funded phase |
| Minty Flash | 4% within 7 days | 3% | 4% | None | 20% |
A consistency rule of 20% means no single day may make up more than 20% of total profit. The General FAQs say "Capital Mint Markets does not impose time limits on any of its challenges." Minty Flash is the exception: "The challenge expires after 7 days from activation."
Mint Freedom+ has "no evaluation phase, no profit target and no consistency rule." The daily drawdown is 2% of the initial balance, and the total drawdown is "4% trailing". The page says it "never locks and keeps trailing for the life of the account." Open positions must never reach a combined floating loss of 1% of the initial balance. Payouts need "7 qualifying days, not necessarily consecutive", each with at least 0.6% profit.
The FAQ lists its most serious banned practices as "insider trading, front-running, arbitrage / latency arbitrage, tick scalping," along with data feed manipulation, group hedging and account management abuse, "all resulting in an immediate ban." It adds: "Other restricted activities include HFT, martingale, grid trading, signal copying, order splitting,". The rules page says "Most trades should hold ≥ 60 seconds."
The FAQ says "By default, news trading is restricted across all challenge types." Without the News Trading add-on, you must not open, close or modify trades from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a news event. The pages do not agree on exceptions. The General FAQs say news trading "is permitted on both the challenge and funded phase for Mint precision and Mint Ascend." The Contact page says that for Mint Vault, Mint Sprint, Mint Precision and Mint Ascend it is a paid add-on. On Minty Flash, news trading is permitted during the challenge, but "Once you are on a funded account, news trading is restricted." Mint Freedom+ does not allow it without the add-on.
The FAQ says "Weekend holding is restricted by default on funded accounts." The Our Rules page adds: "Without the add-on, all positions must be closed before the weekend." The Contact page instead says "Weekend holding is permitted across all programmes." The Minty Flash page says weekend trading is permitted on both its challenge and funded account. Mint Freedom+ needs the Weekend holding add-on.
Payout timing depends on the programme:
The General FAQs say "Minimum payout request is $100." (the Mint Freedom+ page says it has no minimum). You must have no open trades when you request a payout, and payouts go only to accounts that have completed KYC verification. Payouts are made "by Bank Transfer or USDT (both available to all regions)." The rules page says "You are responsible for any transaction fees related to your payout."
Processing time is stated two ways. The General FAQs say "Payouts are processed within 24–48 business hours." The Contact page says "All payout requests are processed within 24 hours."
The Risk Disclosures page says "Profit payouts derive primarily from the registration fees the company collects – not from real trading profits."
The home page says "Every 10% in profit you withdraw earns you a 20% bigger account." and that progress "is based on profits you have actually withdrawn". The cap is stated differently. The home page says "The cap holds at $200,000", while the General FAQs say "The maximum total funded balance is $100,000 per trader across all active funded accounts." The Mint Freedom+ page also uses the $100,000 figure.
Most pages show an 80% base split. The Our Rules page says the split scales to 90% ("80% (scaling to 90%)", and also "70% base, scaling to 90%") and lists "80% (90% with add-on)". On Mint Freedom+ the page says "A 90% profit split add-on is planned and its price will be confirmed soon." Minty Flash pays "80% to the trader."
Two platforms are offered: Platform 5 and Match Trader. The Contact page says "Both are available on all programmes and you choose at account setup." It describes Platform 5 as MT5: "Platform 5 (MT5) is best if you use Expert Advisors, advanced charting, or are already familiar with MetaTrader." Match Trader is "a modern web-based platform with TradingView integration and a built-in prop dashboard".
The General FAQs say funded accounts can trade "Forex, Indices, Commodities, and Crypto CFDs." They list this leverage:
| Asset group | Leverage (General FAQs) |
|---|---|
| Forex major and minor pairs | 1:30 |
| Indices | 1:10 |
| Commodities (metals and energy) | 1:5 |
| Crypto CFDs | 1:2 |
The FAQ says this leverage "applies the same across all five challenge types", but other pages differ. The Our Rules page also shows "1:100 Forex, 1:20 Indices, 1:10 Commodities", and the Mint Freedom+ page lists 1:100 for forex and 1:5 for indices. The About page names instruments including "Forex Gold (XAU) Silver (XAG) US30 NAS100 SPX500 Crude Oil Brent". The Website Terms of Use describe the programme as "focused on the Digital Asset Markets", which does not match the CFD focus of the rest of the site.
The site names the operator as "FNX Capital FZCO (with a trading name of Capital Mint Markets), a company incorporated in the United Arab Emirates" "with Trade Licence number 68143 and registered offices at DSO IFZA, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, UAE." It says "Capital Mint Markets is a sister brand of Capital Mint, both operated by FNX Capital FZCO."
Accounts are simulated. The site says "we only offer virtual demo accounts where live market conditions are simulated" and that the funds "are simulated and do not represent any form of real currency". It also says "Most applicants do not pass on their first attempt".
On regulation, the AML Policy says "While not licensed as a financial institution, Capital Mint Markets adopts standards consistent with regulated entities." The How it works page says "VARA Initial Approval obtained." Our saved copy does not say which entity or activity this refers to.
The firm "does not offer services to residents of specified jurisdictions", including those on the FATF and EU/UN sanctions lists. The AML Policy publishes a list of sanctioned countries; our saved copy shows only the start of it.
Refunds: the Our Rules page says to "Request within 14 days of purchase with no trades executed." Once a trade is placed, the account is no longer refundable, and "Accounts disabled for inactivity are not eligible for a refund."
Capital Mint Markets may suit traders who want a choice between instant accounts and one- or two-step challenges, with no time limit on the standard challenges and a one-time fee. Traders who rely on news trading or holding over the weekend should read the rules page for their programme carefully, because the firm's pages give conflicting answers and some programmes need a paid add-on. Traders using third-party EAs should note that only custom bots are allowed during the evaluation.
