Overview

Funded Squad (written FundedSquad on its own site) sells evaluation accounts and instant funded accounts. Its help centre describes a One-Step Challenge, a 2-Step Fast Evaluation and a 2-Step Squad Evaluation, and three instant models: Instant Lite, Instant Pro and Instant Flex. Its Terms of Service say the site is owned and operated by Devionics Technology FZCO, with an address in Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The firm says all its accounts are demo accounts in a simulated trading environment and that no trades are executed on live markets.

The evaluation articles give an 80% profit split and list a 100% Reward Split add-on. Instant Pro and Instant Flex pay 70%. The firm's scaling-plan page refers to a reward split of up to 100%. The lowest starting price we saw was $69, for a 2.5K Instant account. Trading is on MetaTrader 5, Match Trader and cTrader.

This review uses only the firm's own website, help centre and terms. We could not open the refund-policy page on the main site, and we did not review the help-centre articles for One-Step Pro and Instant Rapid accounts, so we do not describe those. Several of the firm's pages disagree with each other on refunds, payout speed and some instant-account rules; we point these out below.

Everything in this review comes from Funded Squad's own web pages, saved on 7–9 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Key Highlights

✅ Pros

  • No time limit on the evaluations, according to the home page and the 2-Step Fast article.
  • Static maximum drawdown on the One-Step, both 2-Step evaluations, Instant Pro and Instant Flex.
  • Holding open trades through news is allowed on evaluation and Instant Lite/Pro accounts.
  • Copy trading between your own accounts is allowed under stated conditions.
  • Payout methods, minimums and fees are set out in a published payout guide.

❌ Cons

  • The standard split is 80% (70% on Instant Pro and Instant Flex); 100% needs a paid add-on on the evaluation models and Instant Lite.
  • Every trade must be held for at least 2 minutes on evaluation and instant accounts, unless you buy the add-on (sizes up to $10,000; not available on Instant Flex).
  • A 1.5% floating-loss rule applies; a breach cuts the split to 40% or, per one instant article, ends the account.
  • Each payout carries a fee: $30 via Rise or $5–$12 via crypto.
  • No new positions can be opened at weekends, and the instant trading-rules article says weekend holding on instant accounts needs an add-on (the Instant Pro article is unclear on this).
  • The firm's pages contradict each other on refunds and payout times.

Programmes and Prices

The home page showed three starting ("from") prices, $69.00, $79.00 and $89.00, for its 1 Step, 2 Step and Instant products. Our saved copy does not show reliably which price belongs to which product, apart from the About page, which lists the Instant Model Account at "2.5K from $69". The scaling-plan page describes the price as "starting from just $69 per month"; the other pages we saw do not say whether prices are one-time or monthly. The home page also showed a bundle offer marked as a discount, which we do not treat as a list price. The Terms say prices and availability can change without notice.

Evaluations

The One-Step Challenge is a single evaluation stage before a simulated funded account. The 2-Step Fast and 2-Step Squad models have two evaluation phases; the firm describes the Squad model as having a 12% maximum drawdown. Its challenge rules article also names a One-Step Pro model, whose article we did not review.

ProgrammeProfit targetDaily loss limitMaximum lossMin. trading daysProfit splitPayout cycle
One-Step Challenge8%3%7% static380%Every 14 days
2-Step Fast6% / 6%4%8% static580% (100% with add-on)Every 14 days (on demand with add-on)
2-Step SquadNot clear in our copy5%12% static580% (100% with add-on)Every 14 days (on demand with add-on)

The home page says the 2 Step has a 6% target per phase. The Squad article's target figures were not clearly labelled in our saved copy, so we do not state them. The 2-Step Fast article lists further add-ons: weekly rewards, an extra 1% daily drawdown, an extra 2% overall drawdown and removal of the 2-minute rule (for account sizes up to $10,000).

Instant accounts

Instant accounts skip the evaluation. The firm describes Instant Pro as offering immediate access to a funded account, and Instant Flex as designed for traders who want on-demand payouts. The payout guide also mentions Instant Rapid accounts, whose article we did not review.

ProgrammeDaily loss limitMaximum lossMin. trading daysProfit splitPayout cycle
Instant Lite3%6% trailing (fixed once it reaches the initial balance)580% (100% with add-on)On demand
Instant Pro3%6% static570%Every 5 days
Instant Flex3%5% static470%On demand

The Instant Flex article gives a 70% split and mentions optional add-ons available at checkout. The home page also shows a reward split of "Up To 90%"; our copy does not make clear which account or condition it applies to, though it may relate to Instant Flex.

On every model shown above, a trading day only counts if it makes a profit of at least 0.5% of the initial balance. On the 2-Step models and Instant Lite, the days do not need to be consecutive. The home page says there is no time limit and no consistency rules, and the 2-Step Fast article lists the time limit as unlimited in every phase. Accounts with no trading activity for 21 consecutive calendar days are breached; on instant accounts this period starts from the day of purchase.

Trading Rules

Daily loss and drawdown

The daily drawdown resets at 12:00 AM UTC and is based on balance or equity, according to the model articles. The One-Step and 2-Step Fast articles describe the daily limit as a percentage of the daily starting balance, but each also says equity must not fall by more than that percentage of the initial account balance in one trading day. When a hard breach occurs, the account is closed immediately.

1.5% "Max Risk" rule

The trading-rules and model articles set a limit on floating (open) loss: if combined floating loss reaches 1.5% of the initial balance at any time, it is a violation, even if the trade later recovers. On the evaluation models, the first violation reduces the profit split to 40% and a second violation closes the account. For instant accounts the firm's pages disagree. The Instant Pro and Instant Lite articles say a breach of the 1.5% limit leads to a 40% profit split, while the instant trading-rules article says the first violation means immediate breach and termination. We cannot tell from the pages which applies, so check with the firm before trading an instant account.

Minimum trade duration

On all 1 Step and 2 Step evaluation accounts, and on all instant models, trades must be held for at least 2 minutes. An add-on removes this rule for account sizes up to $10,000. The instant trading-rules article says the add-on is not available for Instant Flex, and the Instant Flex article does not list it.

News trading

  • Evaluation models: news trading is fully allowed in Phase 1 and Phase 2. On evaluation funded accounts, you may not open new trades from 4 minutes before to 4 minutes after a news event. Holding trades through news is allowed.
  • Instant Lite and Instant Pro: no new trades from 5 minutes before to 5 minutes after a news event. Holding trades through news is allowed.
  • Instant Flex: news trading is not allowed by default. A news add-on, bought at checkout only, allows trading around high-impact news; a violation in the funded stage is a hard breach.

Weekends

New positions cannot be opened at the weekend on any model. The challenge rules article lists account types on which holding over the weekend is allowed by default, but our copy did not include that list. On instant accounts, weekend holding is not included by default; a Weekend Add-On allows existing positions to be held, not new ones opened. The Instant Pro article contains the line "Weekend Holding Allowed", but our copy does not show whether that is a default rule or an add-on.

The trading-rules articles also set lot-size limits on forex pairs and gold; our copy did not include the figures. The instant trading-rules article says stop-loss and take-profit levels are not required.

Restrictions and Prohibited Strategies

The firm's prohibited-strategies article says breaches may lead to profit removal, payout rejection, account suspension or termination. It lists, among others:

  • Hedging, including opposite positions on the same asset between a FundedSquad account and an account with another firm.
  • Martingale strategies and similar grid-based recovery systems.
  • Having 3 or more open positions on the same asset at the same time.
  • Using more than 70% of available margin in one trade or across active trades.
  • Latency arbitrage, other arbitrage designed to exploit price differences, trading on delayed or incorrect price feeds, and exploiting platform or demo-environment glitches.
  • High-frequency trading and tick scalping through bots.
  • Third-party strategies, off-the-shelf trading systems or EAs; the firm may ask for proof, including source code, that an EA is your own.

The trading-rules articles say Expert Advisors are allowed if they follow all trading rules, but HFT and gold arbitrage EAs are not permitted.

Copy trading is allowed under conditions. The instant trading-rules article says you may copy trades from or to your own personal account or an account with another prop firm, and the firm may ask for proof of ownership. Third-party copy-trading services, letting someone else manage your account and taking trades from signal sellers are prohibited, and signal services are not allowed during the evaluation. The same article says VPN and VPS use is not allowed.

The Terms of Service add arbitrage between challenge accounts or other accounts, and using different strategies for assessments and funded accounts, to the list of prohibited conduct.

Payouts and Scaling

Requesting a payout

The minimum payout is $100 (the payout guide gives $12.50 for Instant Rapid accounts). Requests can only be made on weekdays, from the dashboard. The name on your FundedSquad account must match the name on your payout account, and a payout address must not be used on any other FundedSquad account. You may be sent a KYC link if KYC is required.

How long payouts take

The firm's pages give different times. The payout guide says requests are processed within 24–72 business hours, with weekends and public holidays not counted. The home page says eligible requests are typically processed within 12 hours, and the payout guide says that if an approved payout is not processed within 12 hours, you receive an extra $1,000 bonus. The pages do not explain how these statements fit together, so we report both.

Methods and fees

Rewards are paid through Rise and crypto. Rise is used for all withdrawals above $300 and crypto for payouts below $300. A $30 processing fee applies to every Rise payout, and a fee of $5 to $12 applies to every crypto payout, depending on the payment provider.

Refunds

The firm's pages conflict on refunds. The One-Step, 2-Step Fast and 2-Step Squad articles say the account fee is refunded after your second approved payout. The Instant Pro and Instant Lite articles say it is refunded after the third approved payout, but also that refunds are no longer available for those accounts bought on or after a cut-off date that our copy did not show. Refunds are not available for Instant Flex. The help-centre refund policy says no refunds are accepted once evaluation credentials have been emailed, and also that refunds are only possible with the 2nd payout from evaluation models and the 3rd from instant models. The Terms of Service say all purchases are non-refundable, and the home page advertises a "100% Refundable Fee". We have followed the model articles above, as they are the most specific.

Other payout features

The home page advertises a free retry on all evaluations and "reward protection", which it says lets you keep rewards on simulated funded accounts even if the accounts are failed. Our copy did not show the conditions for either.

Scaling

The home page says "Scale your account with every 10% reward target", and the About page says instant accounts grow by 100% with every 10% reward. The scaling-plan page says capital allocation increases as long as you stay profitable and follow risk-management guidelines, and lists consistent monthly profitability over at least three consecutive trading cycles among its criteria.

Platforms and Markets

The home page lists MetaTrader 5, Match Trader and cTrader. The help centre says available instruments depend on the account type and include forex pairs, metals, commodities and crypto assets. The leverage tables in the model articles also cover indices, and the scaling-plan page mentions forex, indices and commodities.

Company and Terms

The Terms of Service say the site is owned and operated by Devionics Technology FZCO, registered at Office No. 001, DDO IFZA Business Park, Dubai Silicon Oasis, Dubai, United Arab Emirates, licence no. 46706. The home and About pages also name FundedSquad Ltd (Company Number: 2026-00549), registered at the Sotheby Building, Rodney Bay, and mention a physical office in Colombo, Sri Lanka.

The firm says it does not act as a broker, custodian, financial intermediary, investment adviser or deposit-taking institution. It says all accounts are demo accounts in a simulated environment, that its services are for educational and evaluation purposes only, and that programme fees are service fees, not deposits or investments.

The Terms say services are not intended for residents of the United States, and are not available to people or entities subject to sanctions. They list North Korea, Iran, Libya, Somalia, South Sudan, Sudan, Syria and Yemen. The help-centre article on restricted countries names Iran, Syria, Myanmar and North Korea among the countries whose residents and citizens may not use the platform; Myanmar does not appear in the Terms' list.

Who It Suits

Funded Squad may suit traders who want a choice between evaluations with static maximum drawdowns and no time limit, and instant accounts with no evaluation. Traders who scalp should note the 2-minute minimum hold, and traders who hold through weekends or trade news should read the rules for their specific model, as they differ between evaluation and instant accounts and between Instant Flex and the other instant models. Because several pages disagree on refunds, payout speed and the instant-account Max Risk penalty, it is worth confirming these points with the firm before buying.

⚖️ Our Verdict

Funded Squad publishes detailed rule articles for its evaluation and instant models, with static drawdowns on most of them and no time limit on the evaluations. The standard split is 80% or 70%, a 2-minute minimum hold and a 1.5% floating-loss rule apply, and each payout carries a fee. Its pages disagree on refunds, payout times and some instant-account penalties, so check the terms for your chosen model before buying.
