PropXP offers three programmes: a One Phase challenge, a Two Phase challenge and Instant Funding. Its home page calls the two challenges the 1-Step Challenge and the 2-Step Challenge, and says account sizes run from $3K to $200K. The max allocation FAQ gives two separate caps: $400,000 in active challenges, and $400,000 combined across Instant Funding and funded accounts.
PropXP describes itself as "The Static Drawdown Prop Firm". Its trading rules page says each programme uses a static maximum loss anchored to the starting balance, and a daily loss limit set from the day's starting equity that does not trail during the day. The challenges are on demo accounts with simulated funds. For funded accounts the pages differ: the home page and FAQ say funded trading is still simulated, while the Terms and Conditions say a funded account may be simulated or routed into a live environment at the company's discretion. Trading is on MetaTrader 5.
We could not confirm a list price for any challenge or Instant Funding account from the saved pages, so this review gives no prices. The firm's pages also disagree with each other on several rules; we point these out where they arise.
Everything in this review comes from PropXP's own web pages, saved on 11 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

The trading rules page sets out separate rules for One Phase, Two Phase and Instant Funding. Instant Funding has no challenge to pass: the firm says you trade in the simulated funded environment from day one.
| Programme | Profit target | Daily loss limit | Maximum loss | Consistency rule |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| One Phase | 10% | 3% of the day's starting equity | 6%, static | 40% |
| Two Phase | Phase 1: 10%; Phase 2: 5% | 5% of the day's starting equity (both phases) | 10%, static (both phases) | 40%, measured per phase |
| Instant Funding | None to pass; at least 1% profit to request a reward | 3% of the day's starting equity | 6%, static | 20% |
Instant Funding needs at least 5 profitable trading days before a reward request; a profitable day is at least +0.5% realised profit on the start-of-day balance.
The Terms and Conditions give the funded account after the 1-Step challenge a 3% daily and 6% maximum drawdown, and the funded account after the 2-Step challenge a 5% daily and 10% maximum drawdown.
The saved checkout page showed a figure for one account size but we could not tell whether it was the list price, so we cannot say what each programme costs or whether it is a one-time or monthly fee. The home page lists four add-ons that can be chosen with a challenge: Reward Request 7 days, Trade the news, Trade on weekends and 95% profit split. The rules page says the news and weekend add-ons are bought at checkout. We have left out add-on prices because the only figure shown was a bundle offer.
The home page comparison table shows a profit share of "80% (Up to 95% with add-on)" in the column headed Funded, the column that carries the 1% floating loss rule. Elsewhere the home page says the split can be raised to 95% with the profit-split add-on. The saved pages do not state the base split for funded accounts reached through the One Phase or Two Phase challenge.
For all three programmes the trading day resets at 00:00 UTC, and the daily limit is calculated from equity at that time. Open trades and unrealised profit and loss count towards the daily limit, and hitting it is a hard breach. Daily and maximum loss are based on equity, while profit targets are based on balance, so all positions must be closed.
On One Phase and Two Phase challenges and funded accounts, no single day's profit may exceed 40% of total profit for the current phase or reward period; on Instant Funding the limit is 20%. Going over the limit does not fail the account; you must keep trading until the best day falls within the limit of a larger total. On a funded or Instant Funding account, a reward cannot be requested until the rule is met. In the Two Phase challenge the rule is measured per phase and resets when a phase is passed and after a successful reward claim. The same FAQ page writes the Instant Funding formula as "Best Day Profit ≤ 0.40 × Total Profit", which does not match the 20% stated in the text; we have used 20%, which the home page and the trading rules page also give.
One Phase and Two Phase have no fixed minimum number of trading days, but the firm says the 40% rule means at least 3 trading days in practice. The Terms and Conditions instead require trading on at least 5 separate working days in both challenges, and say the Terms prevail over the Trading Rules. The checkout page shows a third figure, "Minimum Trading Days 3", for the One Step phase. The home page says there are no time limits to pass. All accounts, including Instant Funding, are closed if no trade is placed for 30 consecutive days, with no refund for inactivity closures.
On Instant Funding, the first time combined floating loss on all open positions reaches -1%, all positions are closed automatically and the account's profit split is cut to 50% permanently; the second time, the account is breached.
Leverage on the trading rules page is FX 1:100 on challenges and 1:50 on funded accounts, metals 1:25, indices 1:25, crypto 1:2 and stocks 1:10. The pages differ on margin: the trading rules page "strongly recommend[s]" using no more than 25% of available margin on one trade or instrument, while the max margin FAQ says you "must not" use more than 25% of your account size as margin on a single trade or across trades on the same instrument. We have treated the FAQ's 25% limit as a rule, as it is the more specific page.
| Account stage | News trading | Overnight | Weekend holding |
|---|---|---|---|
| One Phase and Two Phase challenge | Allowed | Allowed | Allowed |
| Funded account (after a challenge) | Needs the News add-on | Allowed | Needs the Weekend Trading add-on |
| Instant Funding | Needs the News Trading add-on | Allowed | Needs the Weekend Trading add-on |
Without the news add-on, funded and Instant Funding traders must close positions 5 minutes before a red event and must not open or close trades until 5 minutes after it; pending orders count. Without the weekend add-on, positions must be closed before Friday close. Crypto trading, including weekend holding, is allowed on all accounts without add-ons.
The table above follows the trading rules page and FAQ. The Terms and Conditions, however, list opening trades as major news events occur, or within 2 hours of a market close of 2 hours or more, as forbidden gap trading during demo trading. The Terms' funded-account clause instead says trades may be held over the weekend and only bars opening new trades at the weekend, so the pages conflict. The Terms say they prevail over the Trading Rules.
High-impact news means an event marked with 3 bars on the PropXP Economic Calendar or a red folder on the Forex Factory calendar, and traders must watch both. According to the red-news FAQ, U.S. high-impact news and high-impact decisions and speeches from the ECB, BOE and BOJ trigger a blackout on all instruments; other high-impact events restrict only instruments tied to that currency or country. The trading rules page differs: it gives a BOJ rate decision as an example where only JPY instruments are restricted and EURUSD is fine, and lists ECB, BOE and BOJ events as restricting gold. We have used the FAQ, which is the more detailed page.
For funded accounts, the trading rules page says a first weekend or news violation brings a warning email, a profit adjustment on the affected trades if needed and a profit split cut to 50% for the rest of the account's life; a second violation is a hard breach. The same page also says a funded news violation "can permanently reduce your reward split to 40%". For Instant Funding, the news section of the trading rules page says an open or held trade in the window without the add-on breaches the account. The news consequences FAQ, which covers both funded and Instant Funding accounts, gives the warning-then-breach ladder instead and says repeat offenders on a new account may be permanently banned. Because the pages disagree, Instant Funding traders without the add-on should assume a first news violation can end the account.
The home page says the first reward can be requested on demand once the objectives are met, and later requests every two weeks. It also says you can request your first reward when you reach 1% profit, subject to the consistency rule. Processing is described on the home page as typically 1–2 business days from approval. A later FAQ gives an estimate of 24 to 72 business hours, not a guarantee. On funded accounts from a challenge, the "Reward Request 7 Days" add-on makes the cycle after the first reward 7 days. The home page says there are no caps on withdrawals. The minimum reward request is $50 on funded accounts from challenges and $100 on Instant Funding accounts. After requesting a reward you must stop trading until it is processed; trading during processing can get the request cancelled.
We did not find a scaling plan on the saved pages, and the payment methods for rewards were not captured.
PropXP uses MetaTrader 5 on desktop and mobile. The home page lists forex, indices, commodities, stocks and cryptos.
The website footer says PropXP.com is used by PropXP Ltd, incorporated in Saint Lucia under registration number 2025-00696, with a registered office in Rodney Bay, Gros Islet, Saint Lucia. The footer names Corevian Services Limited, a Cyprus company with registration number HE489577, as PropXP Ltd's payment agent.
The footer says challenges use demo accounts with simulated funds, and that traders who qualify may be invited into funded programmes under separate agreements. The home page FAQ says funded trading is still simulated, with rewards based on simulated results. The Terms and Conditions instead say a funded account may operate in a simulated or demo environment or in a live-routed environment connected to liquidity providers, as the company decides. The Terms also say that where they conflict with any version of the Trading Rules, the Terms prevail.
The firm says it does not serve people in countries under UN, EU or OFAC sanctions, FATF high-risk or non-compliant jurisdictions, places where its services would breach local law, or citizens or residents of the United States, and may add further jurisdictions.
PropXP may suit traders who want a static maximum loss and a daily limit that does not trail during the day. The trading rules page allows news trading and weekend holding in the challenges without add-ons, though the Terms list trading as major news events occur as forbidden gap trading. On a funded or Instant Funding account the rules page and FAQs require paid add-ons for both. Funded and Instant Funding traders must hold every trade for at least 2 minutes; a first breach of this rule cuts the split to 50% for the life of the account. Instant Funding also has a 1% floating loss cap, a 20% consistency rule and needs 5 profitable days before a reward. Because we could not confirm list prices, check the current price at checkout before buying, and read the Terms and Conditions as well as the rules page.

PropXP offers One Phase, Two Phase and Instant Funding programmes on MT5 with static maximum loss and a non-trailing daily limit. Funded and Instant Funding accounts carry extra rules, including paid add-ons for news and weekend holding and a 2-minute minimum hold. We could not confirm list prices, and the rules page, FAQs and Terms disagree on several rules, so read all three before you buy.

Find My MatchThe challenges are on demo accounts with simulated funds. For funded accounts the pages differ: the home page and FAQ say funded trading is still simulated, while the Terms say a funded account may be simulated or routed into a live environment at the company's discretion.
The home page says yes during the challenge, and that on funded accounts it needs the News Trading add-on bought at checkout. The Terms and Conditions, however, list opening trades as major news events occur as forbidden gap trading.
No single day's profit may exceed 40% of total profit on challenges and funded accounts, or 20% on Instant Funding. Breaking it does not fail you; you keep trading until it is met.
The home page says the first reward is on demand once you meet the requirements, then every two weeks, with processing typically 1–2 business days; a later FAQ gives 24 to 72 business hours as an estimate. On Instant Funding the first request comes 14 days after the first trade, or 7 days with an add-on.
The site footer names PropXP Ltd, registered in Saint Lucia under number 2025-00696.
The rules page says yes in the challenge; on funded and Instant Funding accounts you need the Weekend Trading add-on, or you must be flat before Friday close. Crypto can be held over the weekend without an add-on. The Terms' funded-account clause instead says trades may be held over the weekend and only bars opening new trades at the weekend.
