Overview

HyroTrader describes itself as a crypto prop firm. It sells three challenge types: Zero-Step, One-Step and Two-Step. Its site says all trading takes place on simulated (demo) accounts that run on real exchange market data, and that there is no real-capital stage at any point. The site advertises funded accounts of up to $200,000. Starting prices are shown as $59 for Two-Step, $69 for One-Step and $89 for Zero-Step.

Each challenge has two loss limits: a daily one and one for the account overall. The firm says there is no deadline to reach the profit target. The profit split starts at 80%. The firm says it can raise the split to 90% on One-Step and Two-Step, while Zero-Step stays at 80%. On One-Step and Two-Step the payment is a refundable deposit, returned with the first payout. The Zero-Step fee is not refundable once the challenge is activated. Payouts are paid in USDT or USDC, and the firm says within 24 hours.

Much of HyroTrader's help centre did not load in our captures, or showed only article titles. Where a rule sits in an article we could not read, we say so rather than guess.

Everything in this review comes from HyroTrader's own web pages, saved on 7–9 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Programmes and prices

HyroTrader's checkout page lists three challenge types: Zero-Step, One-Step and Two-Step. You pick a challenge type and an account size, pay, and then take the evaluation. Zero-Step is the firm's name for its one-day evaluation: it is labelled a 1-Day Evaluation and is marked as new. Prices are shown as "Starts from" amounts. The pages we saved do not show the price for each account size.

One-Step$69Refundable deposit10%4%6%5 daysStarts at 80%
Two-Step$59Refundable deposit10% + 5%5%10%5 + 5 daysStarts at 80%

On One-Step and Two-Step, the firm says the Refundable Challenge Deposit is returned with your first payout. On Zero-Step you pay a challenge fee instead, and the site says this fee is not refundable once you activate the challenge.

The site advertises funded accounts of up to $200,000.

Free trial

HyroTrader offers a free trial. The trial page says it has no fees and uses the same environment and rules as those applied to HyroTrader challenges. You choose the starting simulated capital after verifying your email.

Trading rules

The firm says two loss limits can end a challenge: a daily one and a total one. The daily loss limit is 3% to 5%, depending on the challenge (see the table above). The site says you can trade at your own pace, with no deadline, and lists the trading period as unlimited. The account also closes if you do not trade for 30 days.

Zero-Step: full rules

The home page has a full rules table with a tab for each programme. Only the Zero-Step tab was captured. It shows these rules for the challenge and the funded account:

RuleStep 1: The ChallengeStep 2: Funded Account
Trading periodUnlimitedUnlimited
Minimum trading days1 day-

Daily drawdown3%3%
Maximum loss5%5%

Profit distribution50% per tradeNone

We could not see the full rules tabs for One-Step and Two-Step, so we do not say whether a stop loss is required on those programmes.

Profit distribution

All three product cards list "Profit distribution: Yes". The help centre has an article titled "I had one trading day that exceeded the Profit Distribution Rule. What happens?". We could not read that article, so we do not describe how the rule works beyond the Zero-Step table above.

Restrictions and prohibited strategies

The home page rules panel sets a limit on low-cap altcoins, defined as a market cap under $100M: under 5% of initial balance, including leverage.

The help centre has a Trading Restrictions section with five articles: on the Profit Distribution Rule, prohibited trading actions, copy trading, news trading and spot trading. Its account section also has an article on whether trading bots or signal bots can be used during the challenge or on a funded account. The answers to these articles were not captured, so we do not state whether news trading, copy trading or bots are allowed.

The site says the Tealstreet and Tiger terminals are not available to traders in the United States or in countries where Bybit is restricted, and that you must not use a VPN or any other means to get around that. When trading through a third-party exchange or terminal, you must meet that provider's own terms and eligibility rules.

Payouts and scaling

  • When: close your positions and request a payout once you have at least $100 in profit after the split.
  • How: paid in USDT or USDC. The firm says payouts are paid within 24 hours, with no fees.
  • Split: you start on 80% and keep it on every payout. The firm says that if you trade well over time it can raise your split to 90% on One-Step and Two-Step. Zero-Step stays at 80%. The pages we saved do not set out the conditions for the increase.
  • Deposit refund: on One-Step and Two-Step, the Refundable Challenge Deposit is returned with your first payout.

The site says a payout is a contractual share of simulated trading performance. It also says every payout, deposit and refund is shown in your dashboard.

HyroTrader's home page states that it has paid "$8M+" to funded traders and has "1.7K+" funded traders. These are the firm's own figures; we have not checked them.

Platforms and markets

HyroTrader lets you trade a challenge on your own Bybit or BloFin demo account, or on its own Hyro platform with nothing to set up. Two further terminals run on Bybit market data. The firm says more exchanges are being added.

PlatformHow it connectsWhat the firm says
BybitYour own Bybit demo account, by API700+ USDT perpetual pairs, leverage up to 100x
HyroHyroTrader's own platform, no exchange account neededLive Bybit market data with realistic fees and slippage, TradingView charts, 700+ pairs, leverage up to 100x+ depending on the pair; the challenge starts instantly
BloFinYour own BloFin demo account, by API80+ USDT-M futures pairs, leverage up to 150x on BTC and ETH
TealstreetBy API; the firm creates the API keysA trading terminal running on Bybit market data
Tiger.comBy API; the firm creates the API keysThe Tiger.com terminal, running on Bybit market data

HyroTrader's home page states "700+" tradable cryptocurrencies. The Bybit, Hyro and BloFin descriptions all refer to crypto pairs; Tealstreet and Tiger.com run on Bybit market data.

Where you connect your own Bybit or BloFin demo account, the site says that account is yours, but the simulated balance HyroTrader allocates to a challenge or funded account is not.

Company and terms

  • The site says HyroTrader is operated by HYRO TECHNOLOGIES FZ-LLC, RAKEZ, Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates.
  • It says funded accounts are provided by HYROTRADER TECHNOLOGIES LTD, Intershore Chambers, Road Town, Tortola, British Virgin Islands.
  • For customers in the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, it says card payments are handled by Hyro Finance, j. s. a., Bratislava, Slovak Republic.
  • All trading takes place on simulated (demo) accounts that run on real exchange market data. The site says there is no real-capital stage at any point.
  • The site says HyroTrader is not a broker, does not accept deposits for trading, and does not provide investment services, investment advice or portfolio management.
  • It says HyroTrader's revenue comes from challenge fees, and that many traders do not pass the evaluation.

On its About section, the firm says the team started building in 2022 and launched HyroTrader in 2023. A tournament listing on the home page refers to "HyroTrader Headquarters, Prague, Czech Republic".

Who it suits

HyroTrader is a crypto prop firm, so it is aimed at traders of crypto pairs. It may suit traders who already use Bybit or BloFin and want to take a challenge on their own demo account, and traders who do not want a deadline on the evaluation. Traders who want their entry payment back would look at One-Step or Two-Step, where the deposit is returned with the first payout; the Zero-Step fee is not refundable once the challenge is activated. Traders in the United States cannot use the Tealstreet or Tiger terminals.

MyPropGenius Rating

MyPropGenius Rating: 3.0/5 — its Transparency Index score of 60/100 ÷ 20, rounded down (provisional: scored from limited public information; not yet verified)

The rating measures how openly HyroTrader discloses its rules, pricing, payouts and ownership (our Transparency Index methodology). It does not measure how likely you are to pass or be paid.

Is HyroTrader legit?

The About page names the operator (HYRO TECHNOLOGIES FZ-LLC, RAKEZ, UAE) and the funded-account provider (a British Virgin Islands company), and says there is no real-capital stage and HyroTrader is not a broker. The About page names the CEO and lists a full team. The homepage states the refund terms clearly: One-Step and Two-Step deposits come back with the first payout, and the Zero-Step fee is not refundable once the challenge is activated. The homepage claims '$8M+ Paid to Funded Traders' and shows trader interviews with total-profit figures. Its own pages say it launched in 2023, which we count as one to three years of operating history.

Its Transparency Index score is 60/100 (Good); the score is provisional, based on limited public information. We do not verify payouts or test accounts; this is what the firm’s own pages show.
