Nexgen ProTrader Funding is a futures prop firm. Its homepage footer reads "©2026 Nexgen ProTrader Funding LLC. All rights reserved." It sells Nexgen Rapid Accounts, where you "Trade a simulated account and meet the required performance objectives", and Nexgen Instant Accounts, which let you "Start trading immediately without completing an evaluation phase".
A passed Rapid account moves to the Sim Funded stage, "where traders can begin qualifying for payouts." The help centre calls the funded trader account "technically a simulation account." The homepage states the split as "100% Sim/Live & 90/10 Live Cash Accounts".
Our copy is a text capture of the homepage and the firm's GitBook help centre. It does not show which homepage price or profit target belongs to which account size, so we only pair figures with sizes where the firm's own wording does.
Everything in this review comes from Nexgen ProTrader Funding's own web pages, saved on 10 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

The account-types page lists four account types:
| Account type | What the firm says |
|---|---|
| Test Evaluation Account (Rapid Account) | A simulated evaluation; you must meet profit objectives within loss limit rules. |
| Sim/Live Trader Account | The funded stage after a pass; "technically a simulation account". |
| Instant Funded Account | No evaluation phase; traders work toward payouts "from day one". |
| Nexgen Live Cash Accounts | For traders who have received "up to 3-5 payouts" while meeting internal risk standards. |
The FAQ and account-types pages list a one-time activation fee for each evaluation size:
| Evaluation size | One-time activation fee |
|---|---|
| $25,000 | $119.00 |
| $50,000 | $129.00 |
| $75,000 | $159.00 |
| $100,000 | $179.00 |
| $150,000 | $199.00 |
The homepage shows a separate set of figures: $149, $249, $329, $349 and $449, and $44.70 /month, $74.70 /month, $98.70 /month, $104.70 /month and $134.70 /month. It also shows $349 /One-Time, $399 /One-Time, $499 /One-Time, $649 /One-Time and $849 /One-Time.
Our copy does not show which programme or account size each homepage figure belongs to, or whether any is a promotional price. They differ from the help centre's activation fees; we report both as worded and have not reconciled them. The homepage also says "Promotional discount codes aren't always available."
Evaluation subscriptions renew automatically every 30 days. Once you reach the profit objectives, the subscription for that evaluation account ends automatically. The account-types page says an account "will automatically reset after 30 days unless the subscription is canceled before that time." Our copy does not show which account status this applies to. You must cancel through your client portal or dashboard at least 24 hours before the next billing date to avoid renewal.
The rules page says "Each account size at Nexgen ProTrader Funding comes with a specific profit target". We could not see those targets, or Instant account prices matched to sizes, in the pages we saved.
A minimum of 1 trading day is required to pass the evaluation. There is no time limit: "take as long as needed while maintaining an active subscription."
The homepage defines a trading day as "any day where at least one trade is placed and closed on your evaluation account"; the account-types page says "any day on which at least one order is executed". We read the homepage wording as the more specific.
The end-of-day drawdown trails upward only after a day closes higher, and does not move after a losing day. The rules pages add: "Do not hit your drawdown limit intraday". Exceeding the maximum drawdown during a trade liquidates your positions and closes the account.
Once the balance reaches a set level, the drawdown locks permanently and that level becomes the minimum balance. The page's example: on a $50,000 account with a $2,000 end-of-day drawdown, once the balance reaches $54,100 the drawdown locks at $52,100. Its table, in the same column order:
| Account size | Max drawdown | Locked balance | Lock trigger |
|---|---|---|---|
| $25,000 | $1,300 | $26,400 | $27,650 |
| $50,000 | $2,000 | $52,100 | $54,100 |
| $75,000 | $2,500 | $77,600 | $80,100 |
| $100,000 | $3,000 | $103,100 | $106,100 |
| $150,000 | $4,500 | $154,600 | $159,100 |
The same page also prints the $25,000 drawdown as "$1,3000" in a second table, and the $25,000 row's figures do not add up the way the other rows do, so check the $25,000 drawdown with the firm. The page does not name which programmes the table covers.
The homepage says there is "No DLL On Evals, Sim/Live Accounts". The Live Cash page says Live Cash Accounts have no consistency or daily loss limit rules. The payout agreement also lists "Daily loss limits" among the items it refers to; our copy does not show the surrounding text.
Maximum position size depends on the account's contract limit, and traders may scale contracts as they see fit. Positions must not be held beyond 4:55 PM EST, five minutes before the close, "or your account will be terminated." If a market is limited up or down, you cannot place a trade for 5 minutes after trading resumes. The firm says it will not penalise unfavourable risk-to-reward ratios "provided they remain" within a condition that our copy does not show in full.
Sim/Live accounts need 5 Qualified Trading Days for each payout request. A day counts only if the trader reaches the minimum daily profit for the account size, which our copy does not show per size.
The payouts page says Sim/Live accounts on Rapid Pass/Evals have 50% consistency: no more than 50% of total profits in a 5-qualified-trading-day cycle may come from a single day. The same page also says "This is not a mandatory rule, but rather a helpful benchmark for traders to visualize their consistency." Our copy does not show which figure that refers to, so check the consistency rule with the firm.
Legacy funded accounts (old rules), which "start with NEXLIVE", have 40% consistency.
Automated trading is banned: "No. We do not allow any automated or bot trading of any kind." Hedging is prohibited, including cross-account hedging (for example "Long NQ / Short MNQ"), and may lead to immediate termination and permanent disqualification.
You cannot let anyone else trade your account, and group, coordinated or shared trading is prohibited. Accounts from the same household may not be copied, coordinated or controlled by one person. You may register only one email address, and traders must be 18 or older. The firm allows up to 3 live trading accounts and 10 evaluation accounts per trader.
News trading is not restricted: "Nexgen has no restrictions on trading during any news events on Evaluation & Sim/Live Accounts." The payout agreement lists "News-event restrictions" among the items it refers to; our copy does not show the surrounding text.
The help centre explains how to set up trade copying and offers Nexgen's own copier as a subscription for $19.99/month. The firm says it "will not be liable for any issues created by the trade copier."
The minimum payout request is $250 USD, and you need at least $350 above your account buffer to request a withdrawal. The buffer equals the maximum drawdown plus $100. You can only withdraw profit made in the current payout period; unused profit cannot be saved for a later period.
Payouts are subject to a payout cap policy, and the maximum may vary with account size and the number of previous approved payouts. The payouts page says "Traders receive 100% of the payout cap amount." We could not see the cap for each size. Drawdowns "remain static after a withdrawal".
Requests are typically processed within 2–5 business days, by PayPal or Rise only. Rise payouts carry a flat $50 USD fee, and PayPal fees are paid by the recipient. Submitting a request does not guarantee approval.
Live Cash is for traders who have received "up to 3-5 payouts" while meeting internal risk standards; the risk disclaimer says the firm "may opt to fund or not to fund a live trading account for a newly qualified trader."
Live Cash accounts use Rithmic market data and connectivity, and the split is 90% to the trader and 10% to the firm. A single semi-live account converted to cash starts with a 3% maximum loss limit, which rises with new end-of-day highs and then locks at Starting Balance + $100. A $150K account starts at 3 contracts (30 micros), with 1 more contract (10 micros) for every $5,000 of net profit above the locking level.
The first payout needs at least 5 completed trading days; after that, payouts can be requested each Friday with a $250 minimum. Traders must trade MNQ, NQ, MES or ES, and may request another market through a support ticket or Discord.
The Live Cash page lists Level II (Depth of Market) Pro Data at $195/month, deducted from the trading account, and Tradesea at an additional $35/month, deducted if used. It also says some applicable fees are refunded when an account moves to Live Cash; our copy does not show which fees.
The supported-platforms page lists TradingView, NinjaTrader 8, Sierra Chart, CQG (browser and desktop), Bluewater, DeepCharts, Agenda Trader, ZlanTrader, Book Map, Jigsaw, Linn Soft and Go Charting. Sierra Chart "requires Denali data to be purchased from them in order to use Sierra/CQG". TradingView's Basic (free) plan does not provide real-time market data. The firm says its technical support will not help configure third-party data.
Our copy of the help centre's markets-and-commissions page was not usable, so we do not list approved markets or commissions for evaluation and Sim/Live accounts. Live Cash markets are covered above.
Its homepage footer reads "©2026 Nexgen ProTrader Funding LLC. All rights reserved." The subscription policy names Florida law and binding arbitration under American Arbitration Association rules. The risk disclaimer says "simulated results do not represent actual trading" and that the programme "is not suitable for novice or untrained traders."
The refund policy says "All sales are final. No refunds, credits, or reversals will be issued." Failed evaluations, rule violations and third-party outages are not grounds for a refund, though the firm may offer an account credit as a courtesy at its discretion. The subscription policy calls a chargeback "contractual fraud".
The firm says its US FCM and brokerage do not let it accept citizens or residents of restricted countries; the list includes Cuba, Russia and Iran. Our copy may not show the full list. In Canada only Alberta, Ontario and Quebec are allowed, with British Columbia possible at a senior manager's discretion. Funded accounts go through KYC and AML checks by the broker and clearing firm.
It may suit futures traders who trade manually, close positions before the daily close and want an evaluation with a one-day minimum and no time limit. It does not suit traders who use EAs or bots, or who want to hold positions past the daily close on Evaluation and Sim/Live accounts.
