Overview

Funded Traders Global sells 1-Step, 2-Step and 3-Step challenges for account sizes from $5K to $500K. There is no time limit to pass. The challenges page says the standard share of gains is 75%, and that it can be upgraded to 90% at the time of purchase.

The firm's own pages are inconsistent on several important points. Its privacy policy calls the service "Blue Ribbon Capital's Funded Trader Program" and "a white label of Prop Account, LLC". A disclaimer on the site says the service is simulated and that users are "ONLY offered a demo account". That disclaimer names TradersEdgeFX, not Funded Traders Global. The funded-account FAQ instead says passing traders get "a live account, backed by our capital". We set out these and other contradictions below so you can check them with the firm before you buy.

Everything in this review comes from Funded Traders Global's own web pages, saved on 7–9 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Key Highlights

✅ Pros

  • No time limit on any of the three evaluation types.
  • The first withdrawal from a funded account can be requested at any time.
  • Expert Advisors are allowed, subject to the prohibited-trading rules.
  • The help centre says you can trade during news, as long as the broker keeps providing pricing data.
  • The 3-Step evaluation has no daily loss limit.

❌ Cons

  • The 90% share of gains is a paid add-on bought at purchase.
  • All trades are closed at 3:45pm EST on Friday unless you buy the weekend-holding add-on.
  • The site's disclaimer (demo only, naming TradersEdgeFX) conflicts with the help centre's description of a live account.
  • Pages disagree on the standard profit share (75% or 80%) and on whether a stop loss is required.
  • The terms say there are no refunds, with an exception only in some special circumstances when no trades were placed.

Programmes and Prices

The firm offers three evaluation types: 1-Step, 2-Step and 3-Step. Account sizes run from $5K to $500K, and each size has a name.

Account sizeName
$5KBeginner
$10KRookie
$25KVeteran
$50KElite
$100KPro
$250KMaster
$500KApex

The 5K account is $60 on all three evaluation types. Other fees differ by evaluation type, from $60 to $3,749 — check the fee for your chosen programme on the firm's site.

The programmes page also lists a different set of fees: "$50k Account Size - $499 Assessment fee", "$100k Account Size - $999 Assessment fee" and "$500k Account Size - $4,999 Assessment fee". These do not match the challenges page, and the page does not say which programme they belong to. The programmes page describes the fee as a "One Time Fee". The terms say prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

Add-ons

Add-ons are bought at the time of purchase. The 2-Step and 3-Step rules articles list "Share of Gains Increased to 90% (20% Cost)" and "Hold Over Weekend (10% Cost)". The 1-Step article lists the same weekend add-on at 10% cost and says the gains add-on raises the share to 90% from the standard 75%.

Trading Rules

The rules below come from the firm's help-centre article for each evaluation type.

The 1-Step and 2-Step articles do not give the daily loss percentage in the text we saved. The programmes page shows both "Daily Loss Limit: 5%" and "Daily Max Loss: 4%", but we could not reliably tie each figure to an evaluation type, so we have left the percentage out of the table.

The 3-Step article says the maximum drawdown is set at 5% of the starting balance. The same page also says "This 8% is static and does not trail." We used the 5% figure, which matches the specific setting sentence.

The programmes page says there is no minimum or maximum number of trading days. All three articles say you must place a trade at least once every 30 days. The 3-Step article marks this as a hard breach.

Breaches

A soft breach means the firm closes the trades that broke the rule. The Friday close is a soft breach, and you can keep trading when markets reopen. A hard breach means you broke the Daily Loss Limit or maximum drawdown rule. In that case you fail the assessment or lose the funded account.

Stop losses and leverage by asset

The pages disagree on stop losses. The 2-Step and 3-Step articles say the firm recommends but does not require a stop loss on every trade. The programmes page says "we require a stop loss on every trade." The 2-Step article also lists an add-on that disables a "Stoploss Required" rule. Check the current rule for your programme before trading.

The general FAQ says equity shares are traded at 5:1 and cryptos at 2:1. The programmes page says leverage is "Up to 20:1 with an upgraded account (10:1 standard leverage)".

Funded accounts

The funded-account FAQ says the rules for the funded account are exactly the same as for the assessment account, except that there is no profit target. Daily loss, maximum drawdown, stop loss and position limits apply. The firm says it may limit the number of open positions in the funded account at any time.

Restrictions and Prohibited Strategies

The general FAQ says you can trade using an Expert Advisor, subject to the firm's policy on prohibited trading. It also says you can trade during the news, provided the broker continues to provide pricing data.

The terms and the general FAQ list these prohibited practices:

  • Exploiting errors or latency in the broker's pricing or platforms.
  • Using non-public or insider information.
  • Front-running trades placed elsewhere.
  • Trading in a way that creates regulatory issues for the broker.
  • Using any third-party or off-the-shelf strategy, or one marketed to pass challenge accounts.
  • Using one strategy to pass an assessment and a different strategy in a funded account.
  • Arbitraging an assessment account against another account with the firm or another company.
  • Holding a Single Share Equity CFD position into an earnings release for that equity.
  • Entering an Equity CFD at or near the end of the trading day with intent to profit from the market gap.

On the earnings rule, the terms say Single Share Equity CFD positions must be closed by 3:50 pm Eastern Time on the day of the release, and that breaking the rule is an immediate hard breach.

If you use a prohibited strategy, the terms say your participation will be terminated and you may lose the fees you paid. The firm also reserves the right to block any trader from the programme for any reason.

Payouts

The funded-account FAQ says your first withdrawal can be requested at any time. After that, you can request a withdrawal every 30 days, but no more often than once per 30 days. Requests are made in the trader dashboard. Once a request is approved, the firm pays the money owed into your account.

The FAQ's worked example gives the trader $12,000 and the firm $4,000. It also says that if you have gains at the time of a hard breach, you still receive your share of them. The drawdown does not reset when you request a withdrawal.

The homepage says the firm has a "100% payout record". This is the firm's own claim; we have not verified it.

The standard profit share differs between pages. The challenges page and the 1-Step article say 75%. The 2-Step and 3-Step articles say the add-on raises the share to 90% "up from the standard 80%". We treat 75% as the standard share on the 1-Step programme. For 2-Step and 3-Step, confirm the standard share with the firm.

Platforms and Markets

The about page says Funded Traders Global, powered by Blue Ribbon Capital, has partnered with ThinkMarkets. The general FAQ says the platforms, pricing and execution are provided by ThinkMarkets. The pages we saved do not name the trading platform.

The general FAQ says you can trade any products offered by the broker, including FX pairs and CFD indices, metals, equity shares and cryptocurrencies. The rules articles give these contract sizes:

Market1 lot equals
Forex$100k notional
Index10 contracts
Cryptos1 coin
Gold100 ounces
Silver5,000 ounces
Oil1,000 barrels

The 1-Step article says "For ThinkMarket accounts, there is no max lot rule." The programmes page, however, refers to a maximum number of open lots across all pairs.

Company and Terms

The firm's pages name several entities. The terms say "Welcome to Prop Account, LLC!". The privacy policy refers to Blue Ribbon Capital's Funded Trader Program and calls it a white label of Prop Account, LLC. The general FAQ says charges appear in the name of Dashboardanalytix.com. The address given on the site is 625 Kenmoor Ave. SE Ste. 210, Grand Rapids, MI 49546.

A disclaimer on the site says TradersEdgeFX only provides simulated trading services, that all trading takes place in a virtual environment, and that users are only offered a demo account. It also says TradersEdgeFX does not act as a broker, does not accept deposits, and that this is not an investment opportunity.

Other pages describe the funded stage differently. The terms say traders who pass an assessment "shall be allocated capital to trade in a live account", but also that "No live trading is provided directly by the Company." The funded-account FAQ says passing traders get "a live account, backed by our capital", and also that the capital in the funded account is notional. The pages do not explain how these statements fit together.

Eligibility. The general FAQ says traders from all countries except OFAC-listed countries can take part. You must be at least 18, or the minimum legal age in your country, to buy an assessment.

Refunds. The terms say there are no refunds on any services bought from the company. In some special circumstances, the firm will refund if no trades were placed on the account. Clients who improperly dispute charges or request chargebacks will be permanently banned.

Who It Suits

Funded Traders Global may suit traders who want no time limit and a choice of one, two or three evaluation steps. The 3-Step evaluation has smaller targets and no daily loss limit, but a 5% static drawdown. The 1-Step evaluation uses a trailing drawdown until a 6% return is reached.

Traders who hold positions over the weekend will need the paid add-on. Anyone who wants clarity on who operates the service, and whether funded accounts are live or simulated, should ask the firm first, because its own pages give conflicting answers.

⚖️ Our Verdict

Funded Traders Global offers 1-Step, 2-Step and 3-Step challenges from $5K to $500K with no time limits and a first withdrawal available on demand. The 90% share of gains and weekend holding are paid add-ons. Its pages contradict each other on the operating entity, live versus demo accounts, the standard profit share, stop-loss rules and some prices, so confirm these with the firm before buying.
