Overview

TakeCap FT (the trading name of Take Capital for Traders) sells evaluation challenges on simulated accounts. Its main website is in Portuguese, with Spanish and English versions. Traders choose a 2-Phase, 1-Phase or Instant plan, and a Consistency or Risk Management rule type. The firm's terms also describe Subscription Plans at $50,000, $100,000 and $200,000, but we did not see their prices in our captures.

2-Phase and 1-Phase accounts run from $5,000 to $200,000; Instant accounts from $2,000 to $25,000. On Single Payment plans the evaluation fee is paid once, and there is no maximum time limit to pass. Funded ("Phase 3") traders start at an 80% performance reward on 2-Phase and 1-Phase plans and 70% on Instant plans. Rewards are paid only in USDT on the TRC20 network.

All trading is simulated on TradeLocker. The firm's website disclaimer says it is not a broker and is not regulated by financial authorities. Its terms name a company in Charlestown, Nevis.

Everything in this review comes from TakeCap FT's own web pages, saved on 11 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Key Highlights

Programmes and Prices

The firm sells two tracks. Single Payment Plans (1-Phase, 2-Phase or Instant) charge a one-time fee. Subscription Plans charge a monthly fee during the evaluation, then a one-time activation fee to enter Phase 3. Each track can use a Consistency or a Risk Management rule set.

The prices below were shown in US dollars ($). The 2-Phase prices are the "original price" (Preço original) on the Portuguese home page, which also showed a lower discounted price. The 1-Phase and Instant prices come from the Spanish shop page, which listed them without a discount. All prices below are for the Consistency rule type.

Instant (Consistency, one-time): $2,000 for $69; $5,000 for $172; $10,000 for $345; $25,000 for $805.

The shop page showed only 16 of 35 products, so we did not see Risk Management plan prices. The terms say Subscription Plan amounts are published on the website, but we did not find them in our captures.

The help centre lists crypto (BTC and USDT), credit card, Pix and PayPal as payment methods. Card, Pix and PayPal must be in the account holder's name. Pix payments must come from a bank account with the same CPF as the TakeCap registration.

Trading Rules by Plan

The help centre and terms set the following rules. Daily loss is measured from the balance at 00:00 UTC and includes open positions. There is no maximum time limit for Phase 1 or Phase 2, and Phase 3 has no profit target.

PlanProfit targetDaily loss limitMaximum lossStarting reward
2-Phase10% (Phase 1), 5% (Phase 2)5%10% static80%, up to 90%
1-Phase10%3%6% static80%, up to 90%
InstantNoneNone6% trailing70%, up to 80%
Subscription10%5%5% static90% fixed

Consistency rule type

On Consistency plans (1-Phase, 2-Phase and Subscription), no single UTC trading day may exceed 40% of the total net result needed to pass a phase or request a reward. On Instant plans the limit is 20%. Breaching this does not fail the account: you keep trading until your best day falls back under the limit.

Risk Management rule type

Risk Management plans replace the percentage consistency rule with four requirements: a stop loss on every trade, a maximum loss of 2% of the initial balance per trade, a three-strike system for breaches of those two rules (the third strike ends the account), and at least 3 positive days. A positive day needs a closed net result of at least 1% of the initial balance.

Reviews

After hitting a target or requesting a reward, the account goes into "Pending Review" for up to two business days. The terms say the firm may require a video interview about your trading method.

Restrictions and Prohibited Strategies

The terms ban gap trading, high-frequency trading, server spamming, latency arbitrage, toxic trade flow, hedging, long/short and reverse arbitrage, tick scalping, grid trading and trading between opposing accounts. Third-party copy trading, signal groups and account management are also banned. The firm says an automated Pattern Correlation System checks for these. Accounts that rely mostly on external signals are disqualified.

News trading and weekend holding are allowed. The firm warns that it will not reverse breaches caused by slippage or wider spreads during news.

You may buy any number of accounts, but no more than $200,000 of combined simulated capital may be traded at once. Instant plans are offered only at $2,000, $5,000, $10,000 and $25,000. Using copiers to trade two Instant accounts as one larger account is forbidden.

Inactivity: an account with no trades is archived after 20 consecutive days and can be reactivated within 6 months. An account with trading history is permanently deactivated after more than 20 consecutive days without trading. To count as active, an account needs at least 1 completed trade, an average trade duration of 3 minutes and an average risk of 0.20% of the balance within 20 days.

VPNs and VPS are allowed only for connection stability, using a static IP sent to support in advance. Using a VPN to hide your location is a material breach.

Payouts and Scaling

The first reward request is possible 30 days after the first trade on the Phase 3 account, once KYC and the trader contract are complete. After that you can request once per calendar month, at least 30 days after the last processed reward. The minimum request is $100. All positions must be closed before you request.

Rewards are paid only in USDT on TRC20; you pay the network fees. The help centre says the audit usually takes up to 2 business days, and payment is then usually made within 24 hours. Subscription Plans have a $6,000 cap per 30-day request; the help centre says there is no cap for Single Payment Plans.

On 2-Phase and 1-Phase plans, the evaluation fee is returned once you qualify for your first valid reward, either as a credit added to that reward or as a discount on a new challenge of equal or greater value. This is lost if the Phase 3 account breaks a rule before the first successful payout. Instant and Subscription fees are not refunded. Otherwise, no refunds are given.

Career Plan

Phase 3 traders can get a 20% allocation increase after 3 consecutive reward payments of at least 5% of the account balance. They must also have traded for at least 4 months, have no failed challenge in the last 4 months, and pass a risk team review. Allocations can reach $1,000,000, and the career page says increases are not automatic. The firm says Career Plan benefits can include a reward rate of up to 90%, weekly reward requests and fixed monthly rewards of $1,000 to $2,000. The career page also mentions a physical trading space in São Paulo for Career Plan traders, and says buying a challenge does not include office access.

Platform and Markets

Trading runs on TradeLocker, with TradingView charts built in. TradeLocker is available on the web, as a desktop app for Windows and Mac, and on Android and iOS. The TakeCap dashboard and TradeLocker use separate logins.

The home page says more than 100 instruments are available in the simulated environment, including forex pairs and simulated CFDs on crypto, shares, indices and commodities. The help centre's instrument list shows forex, crypto, energies, EU and US shares, indices and metals. The firm's terms describe its services as tools for simulated trading in forex and other financial markets. We did not see futures contracts listed on the pages we captured.

Leverage is capped and cannot be increased: crypto 1:1, energies 1:9, EU/US shares 1:1, forex majors 1:30, forex crosses 1:20, forex exotics 1:10, indices 1:15, metals 1:9.

Company and Terms

The help centre's terms name Take Capital For Traders, registered at Hunkins Waterfront Plaza, Suite 556, Main Street, Charlestown, Nevis. The Portuguese terms page names "TakeCapital For Traders LLC" at the same address. Both are governed by the laws of Nevis. The about page names Rafael Mascarenhas as CEO.

All accounts in every phase use virtual funds. The firm says it does not hold client funds or execute real trades. Its website disclaimer says it is not regulated by financial authorities. Its Portuguese guide page says simulated evaluation platforms are not securities brokers regulated by the CVM.

You must be at least 18 and pass KYC before entering Phase 3 or requesting a reward. Residents of many countries cannot join, including the United States, Australia, India, Indonesia and Russia. The list also includes several Caribbean and Pacific states. Support is by email (support@takecapft.com) and chat. Support hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00–18:00 (GMT-3), with limited support at weekends and on holidays.

The home page says the firm has more than 2,000 participants, has paid $1MM in performance rewards and has traders in more than 140 countries. These are the firm's own figures; we have not verified them.

Where the Firm's Pages Disagree

  • Phase 1 target: a guide page (updated 28/05/2026) gives an 8% Phase 1 target. The home page, help centre and terms give 10%. We used 10%.
  • Combined capital: the same guide gives a $400,000 combined limit per participant as an example. The help centre and terms set $200,000. We used $200,000.
  • Refunds: the Portuguese terms page says all fees are non-refundable. The help centre refund policy, terms and home page say the 2-Phase and 1-Phase fee is returned with the first reward. We used the help centre.
  • Payment methods: the home page lists Pix, boleto, card or crypto. The help centre lists crypto, credit card, Pix and PayPal. The guide page mentions card or crypto.
  • Real capital: an older help-centre article (21 January 2025) lists eligibility for real-market managed capital as a Career Plan benefit. The newer Career Plan article (6 July 2026) says all balances and rewards stay 100% virtual.

Who It Suits

TakeCap FT may suit traders who want a choice between a percentage consistency rule and a stop-loss-based Risk Management rule set, and who are happy to be paid in USDT. 2-Phase plans have the widest loss limits (5% daily, 10% static). Instant plans skip the evaluation but have a trailing drawdown, a stricter consistency rule and a lower starting reward. It is not open to residents of the United States, Australia or India, among others. Hedging, grid trading and third-party copy trading are banned, so it does not suit traders who rely on them.

⚖️ Our Verdict

TakeCap FT publishes detailed rules for its 2-Phase, 1-Phase, Instant and Subscription plans. These include no time limit, news and weekend trading, and a refund of the evaluation fee on 2-Phase and 1-Phase plans with the first reward. Rewards are paid only in USDT, a long list of strategies is banned, and some of its own pages disagree on key figures. Check the current help centre before you buy.
