Overview

Shark Futures is a futures prop trading firm whose Terms describe a "Basic Challenge" evaluation, "Instant PRO Accounts" that give direct access to funded accounts without a multi-phase evaluation, and funded PRO and Live accounts. The firm describes itself as "a simulated trading evaluation platform" and says fees are service fees for access to its simulated trading platform. Its pages name the operator as UAB Propfirms, a company registered in Lithuania. Its about page says the firm was launched in April 2026.

The firm's pages are not consistent: the homepage and programmes page show the programme names LITE, PACE, FLASH and Instant Pro, and the programmes page also uses the names Starter Challenge and Instant Prime. The how-it-works page shows the names Basic, Basic Plus and Instant Pro. Several pages advertise a "$0 Activation Fee", while the price panel on the homepage and programmes page charges an activation fee when you pass. We point out each disagreement below. We could not save the firm's FAQ page, contact page or help centre, including its list of restricted countries.

Everything in this review comes from Shark Futures' own web pages, saved on 10 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Programmes and Prices

The programmes page says traders can "Choose between a structured evaluation or instant access to funded accounts." It shows the names "Starter Challenge" and "Instant Prime", the phrases "Evaluation Required" and "Trade Immediately", and the account-size lists "$50K $100K $150K" and "$25K $50K $100K $150K"; our saved copy does not tie each phrase or size list to a programme in the page's own wording. The about page describes a "One-Phase Evaluation Model" and "Live Account Progression".

The homepage and programmes page also show the programme names LITE, PACE, FLASH and Instant Pro, and the phrases "1-day pass · from $37", "Pass in 3 days", "1-day pass · 3-day payouts" and "Instant funding"; our saved copy does not tie each phrase to a programme in the page's own wording.

Prices on the homepage and programmes page

The price panel shows an entry fee of $37 next to a crossed-out $53, and says "Same entry fee on every account size". Because the $53 is crossed out, $37 appears to be a reduced price; we could not confirm the full list price. The panel says: "This is what you pay today." and "If you do not pass, there is nothing more to pay."

If you pass, there is an activation fee: "If you pass, a one-time $92 activation fee unlocks your funded account ($129 in total)." The price list shows activation fees of $67, $92, $127 and $177 "when you pass"; our saved copy does not show, in the page's own wording, which account size each fee belongs to. The programmes page says: "Once you pass, you can activate your PRO account within 30 days."

The programmes, Terms and about pages also advertise a "$0 Activation Fee". The how-it-works page says "No Activation Fees". Both conflict with the activation fees in the price panel. We used the price panel in this review, as it is the more specific statement.

The how-it-works page

The how-it-works page shows a different set of names, "Basic", "Basic Plus" and "Instant Pro", the phrases "Pass in 3 days", "Pass in 1 day" and "Instant Funding", and prices marked as a "/one-time fee"; our saved copy does not tie each phrase to a programme in the page's own wording. Its price figures range from $48 to $1,199 and differ from the homepage price panel; our saved copy does not tie each figure to a programme in the page's own wording.

Fees in the Terms

The Terms say: "All fees are displayed on our website at purchase. Prices are in USD unless specified otherwise." They add a non-refundable convenience fee of 5% to all transactions processed through the firm's payment portal. They also say "Subscription accounts (if applicable) will automatically renew every 30 days unless cancelled." We did not see any account sold as a subscription in our saved pages.

Trading Rules

Our saved copies rarely say which programme or account size a rule belongs to.

Account panel on the homepage and programmes page

The homepage and programmes page show one account panel with the rules below. It does not name the programme or account size in the wording we saved.

RulePanel value
Profit target$3,000
Maximum drawdown$2,000
Drawdown typeEnd-of-day (EOD) trailing
Daily loss limitNone
Consistency ruleNone
Minimum trading days1
Time limit30 days to reach the target
Position sizeFull size in the challenge; 2 minis or 20 micros once funded

The programmes page also shows "3 minis · 30 micros"; our saved copy does not say which account or stage that figure belongs to. The homepage says: "Get instant funding or plans with no daily loss limit, and become a funded trader today."

Rules on the how-it-works page

The how-it-works page shows a "Trailing Max Drawdown" with an "End of Day" drawdown mode, and lists other figures that our saved copy does not label in the page's own wording. The page also shows "Min Trading Days To Payout" and "8 days", and a sample dashboard reading "Qualifying Days 5 / 8".

News, overnight and weekend holding

The homepage says: "Yes - you’re free to trade during news at any time." It adds that "markets can move quickly, so managing your position size is key." The homepage and programmes page say: "All trades are closed daily by 4:15 PM EST, and weekend holding isn’t allowed."

Restrictions and Prohibited Strategies

The programmes page refers to "Prohibited Conduct (as defined in the Terms of Service)". Our saved copy of the Terms includes the following wording, which reads as a list of things traders must not do (the list's heading was not in our saved copy):

  • "Engage in gambling behavior, martingale strategies, or strategies that exploit the simulated environment"
  • "Use third-party automation, trade copiers, or algorithmic tools without disclosure"
  • "Copy trades between multiple accounts to create correlated risk designed to exploit drawdown rules"
  • "Exploit system errors, latency, data feed irregularities, or platform malfunctions"

The Terms also say: "You are fully responsible for any trade copier or automation connected to your account". The homepage mentions a "Trade Copier for multiple accounts".

Several pages say "all trading activity is subject to review by our Risk and Compliance team." They also say "Shark Futures reserves the right to delete the relevant trading day and associated profits".

Payouts and Scaling

Profit split and account limits

The Terms set the profit split for "PRO and Instant PRO accounts: 90/10 (90% to trader, 10% to SHARK Futures)". For Live accounts they state "80/20 (80% to trader, 20% to SHARK Futures)". The programmes page describes a "Live Account Upgrade" with "Real capital". The Terms say: "Traders may hold a maximum of 5 funded accounts simultaneously across PRO and Instant PRO programs, and 1 Live account."

Payout terms

  • Minimum payout: $250.
  • A balance buffer of $100 must be kept after a payout.
  • Processing "can take up to 10 working days".
  • Payouts are processed through the payout partner Rise, subject to its terms and processing times.
  • Giveaway accounts (from promotions or contests) can receive at most 1 payout.
  • All payouts are subject to review "at our full discretion".

The risk disclosure adds that delays may come from "banking processing, compliance checks, or technical issues".

Marketing wording elsewhere is faster: the homepage advertises "Fast automated payouts" and a programme card says "1-day pass · 3-day payouts". The how-it-works page mentions "automated 6-day payouts". We did not find wording that explains how these fit with the Terms' processing time of up to 10 working days.

Scaling

The site advertises "Up to $750K Across Accounts" and "Up to $750K scaling". The homepage says traders can "Grow from your starting account toward larger capital allocations as your consistency improves." We did not find the details of a scaling plan in our saved pages.

Platforms and Markets

The Terms list "Trading Platforms: Volumetrica (primary), Quantower, ATAS. Market data via DxFeed." The homepage shows "Volumetrica + TradingView", says "TradingView charts included" and "Trade desktop or the web". The how-it-works page instead names "Tradesea / Rithmic" alongside "Volumetrica".

The Terms describe "funded trading opportunities for futures instruments listed on the CME, COMEX, NYMEX, and CBOT exchanges." The homepage shows "ES Futures". We did not see a full list of tradeable contracts in our saved pages.

Company and Terms

The Terms name the operator as UAB Propfirms (company registration number 307586597), "with its registered office at Antano Tumeno g. 4, LT-01110, Vilnius, Lithuania". The risk disclosure says "SHARK Futures complies with applicable Lithuanian and EU laws." The firm states: "Shark Futures is not a broker, registered investment adviser, futures commission merchant (FCM), or financial institution."

The Terms say "SHARK Futures is for educational and skill-assessment purposes only." and "Simulated results do not imply future profits." The risk disclosure says funds "are not insured by any government deposit insurance (FDIC, SIPC, or EU deposit guarantee schemes)".

Refunds

The Terms say: "We follow a no refund policy, unless the Product is proven to be faulty." They add: "Reset fees are non-refundable once processed."

Restricted countries

The Terms say: "Our Services are not available to residents of restricted countries." They point to a list on the firm's help centre, which we could not save. Traders must also represent that they are not subject to sanctions administered by the European Union, United Nations or United States (OFAC).

Firm statements

The about page says the firm was "Launched April 2026 by traders who were frustrated with opaque prop firm rules."

Who It Suits

Shark Futures may suit futures traders who want a one-step evaluation or an instant funded account and who use Volumetrica, Quantower or ATAS. It does not suit traders who want to hold positions overnight or over the weekend, because trades are closed by 4:15 PM EST each day. The firm is new by its own account (launched April 2026), and its pages disagree on programme names, prices and activation fees, so check the current rules for your account on the firm's site before buying.
