Overview

FundedHive runs prop trading challenges through blockchain smart contracts and the cTrader platform. Its homepage offers three models: Pay From Profits, 2-Step Classic and Instant Growth. It describes itself as a “blockchain-based Decentralized Autonomous Corporation”.

The site's disclaimer says all trading in the challenge is simulated. Payouts are claimed from a smart contract to a connected MetaMask (or compatible Web3) wallet, and the Terms say they are made in USD Coin on the ERC20 network. The firm says payouts are sent within 60 seconds of a request, with daily payout limits of $1,000 on Classic and Pay From Profits accounts and $2,000 on Instant accounts.

Everything in this review comes from FundedHive's own web pages, saved on 7–9 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Programmes and Prices

FundedHive sells three account models. The table shows the lowest prices on the pages we saved. The site also showed a discount code banner for new traders only; the prices below are as listed on the pages.

2-Step Classic tiers

The Classic model has three tiers. The funding-models page says every new client starts with the NewBee Challenge, and that completing it unlocks the WorkerBee and then the QueenBee Challenges. It lists a 70% split with 1:50 leverage for NewBee, 80% with 1:100 for WorkerBee and 90% with 1:200 for QueenBee. The same page also says NewBee offers a 60 percent profit split; the homepage Classic table shows 70%, which we use. The FAQ says the Classic fee is a single, one-time payment paid upfront, with no further payment at the funded stage.

Pay From Profits funded fee

On Pay From Profits accounts you pay a small access fee to start, and pay for the funded account only if you pass. The funded fee depends on the risk category the system assigns after you pass, based on your trading during the challenge. You cannot choose the category. The homepage shows this split:

Risk categoryFunded feeUpfrontFrom profits
Low Risk1%0%100%
Moderate Risk2%0%100%
Medium Risk2.5%50%50%
High Risk3%50%50%

The fee taken from profits comes out of your profit-split share before profits become withdrawable. If you exceed your category's risk limits on a funded account, the account is paused, open positions are closed, and you must pay the fee difference for the higher category upfront to resume. The FAQ also says a passed account must be activated within 14 days; a one-time extension of up to 30 days can be granted on request.

Refunds and other fees

The Terms say access fees are non-refundable once the account is created, and refunds are only available for verified technical failures caused by FundedHive. The homepage Classic table lists a 200% “Hive Coin Refund” at the funded stage; the Terms describe this as a refund of the fee paid in Hive Coins upon passing. The FAQ says a gas fee is charged even on card payments, because every purchase runs through the smart contracts.

Trading Rules

The table uses the homepage tables for the 2-Step Classic and the 1-Step Pay From Profits accounts, and the Instant Growth description. We could not reliably read the 2-Step Pay From Profits targets from our captures, so it is not shown.

On funded Pay From Profits accounts, the FAQ and Terms say the risk limits depend on the risk category you are assigned; the homepage table shows 5% daily loss for the funded stage.

The homepage says all FundedHive challenges have no consistency rules and no maximum lot size limits, and that all drawdowns are balance-based and static. The FAQ adds that a balance-based limit can be reached through floating or closed losses; if it is reached, all positions are force-closed and the account is breached. Daily loss limits reset at UTC 00:00. Under the Terms, a profitable day needs a 1% profit.

The FAQ says Classic accounts have no maximum time limit, and the Pay From Profits page advertises “Unlimited Time to Pass”. A stop loss is not needed on Classic and Instant accounts; on Pay From Profits accounts it depends on the risk category.

Restrictions and Prohibited Strategies

  • Hedging: not allowed. The FAQ says FundedHive uses netting accounts, so opposite positions on the same symbol are offset. The Terms also ban opening opposite positions across multiple accounts.
  • Copy trading: the FAQ and Terms allow it during the challenge phases but not on funded accounts. The homepage says copy trading is disallowed; we use the more specific FAQ and Terms. Mirroring trades between anonymous wallets is treated as abuse.
  • EAs and automation: allowed if not used for HFT bots or to exploit technical glitches. The FAQ says automation must not exploit system behaviour, latency, pricing errors or platform infrastructure.
  • Martingale and grid: prohibited by the Terms.
  • Arbitrage and latency exploits: prohibited; the Terms say they lead to disqualification.
  • News trading: the FAQ says trading around high-impact news is permitted on all account types. The Terms separately prohibit a bracketing strategy of opening pending orders around high-impact events.
  • Weekend holding: allowed on challenge accounts, not on funded accounts, per the Terms. Another clause of the Terms is stricter, and the FAQ says funded accounts typically restrict weekend exposure; check the current Terms.
  • Overnight holding: the homepage says every account is swap-free.
  • Multiple accounts: one IP address and device footprint can have only one anonymous account, which can hold multiple challenges.

Payouts and Scaling

Payouts

Payouts are available only on funded stages, not during evaluation phases. The homepage says payouts are “sent within 60 seconds of request”. The FAQ says they are designed to be processed under 60 seconds of verification “or $1000 extra for the delay”, subject to blockchain and network conditions.

  • Paid in USD Coin on the ERC20 network to the wallet linked to your account.
  • Minimum payout: USD 50 under the Terms (the FAQ says the $50 threshold depends on account type).
  • Daily limit: $1,000 on Classic and Pay From Profits accounts, $2,000 on Instant accounts; it resets at UTC 00:00. You can request several payouts a day within the limit.
  • No monthly percentage limit, according to the Terms.
  • You cannot request a payout while positions are open on the funded account.
  • Gas and network fees are paid from the trader's wallet; the Terms require an ETH balance to cover them.

Profit split and A Book / B Book

Pay From Profits funded accounts have a fixed 80% profit split. The Classic split depends on the tier, from 70% (NewBee) to 90% (QueenBee). The Pay From Profits page also says funded traders can earn “up to 100% of profits, depending on their chosen account type”; we could not see which account type this refers to. The Terms pay the split on positive A Book PnL.

The FAQ says funded accounts begin in A Book execution, with trades routed to real market liquidity. If A Book drawdown passes a set threshold, the system switches the account to B Book and force-closes open positions. B Book profits are simulated and not withdrawable. Any negative A Book PnL must be offset before a payout becomes available.

Scaling (Instant Growth “Tower”)

Instant Growth has 10 levels, from $10,000 at Level 1 to $1,000,000 at Level 10. Reaching a 6% profit moves the account up a level. The firm says the account size doubles up to the 5th level and growth then continues but is not symmetrical; the Terms say each level represents a doubling of capital. You can withdraw gains or use part of the profits to pay for the next level, which the Terms put at about 2%. The first level runs in a demo environment; from Level 2 the firm says trading uses A Book execution. The FAQ adds that breaching the maximum drawdown closes the account, and a one-time stop-and-withdraw option exists under defined conditions.

Platforms and Markets

Trading is on cTrader. The FAQ lists the instruments as simulated CFDs on forex, metals and selected indices. The Terms set commission at USD 15 per one million USD traded per side, and the FAQ says FundedHive charges no extra markups on spreads and commissions. Leverage is dynamic: the FAQ says it adjusts with account size, risk category and trading behaviour.

Access works through a MetaMask (or compatible Web3) wallet, which the FAQ says is required for on-chain payouts. The FAQ says WEB3 Anonym Accounts require no KYC. Support runs through the firm's Discord server, which it says is available 24/7.

Company and Terms

The FAQ says TradingHive Group is led by TradingHive Technologies Ltd, “the entity representing FundedHive DAC” for the Terms. The Terms are an agreement with FundedHive DAC; they give company licence number CL9878 for a related Ltd entity, with a Dubai address. The site footer lists addresses in New York and London and a DIFC address in Dubai; the Dubai building name in the footer differs from the one in the Terms.

The disclaimer says FundedHive operates a simulated proprietary trading challenge, is not a broker, does not accept deposits and does not provide access to live trading accounts; any reference to funding relates to capital allocation within the challenge. The FAQ, as noted above, says funded accounts start in A Book execution routed to real market liquidity. The site names no restricted countries; it says participation may not be permitted in certain jurisdictions.

Who It Suits

FundedHive may suit traders who are comfortable using a MetaMask wallet, paying gas fees and receiving payouts in USD Coin. The Classic model suits those who want a one-time fee with no funded-stage charge. The Pay From Profits model has a low access fee, but the funded fee depends on the risk category you are assigned. Traders who want to hold positions over the weekend or copy trades on a funded account should note that the Terms do not allow either.

⚖️ Our Verdict

FundedHive runs its challenges on cTrader and handles payouts through smart contracts, paid in USD Coin to a connected wallet within daily limits. Its rules use static, balance-based drawdowns with no consistency rule, but weekend holding and copy trading stop at the funded stage, and Pay From Profits fees depend on an assigned risk category. Read the Terms and FAQ before buying, as some pages give different answers.
