Funded Hero, which calls itself FundedHero on its site, sells evaluation challenges and Instant accounts for trading CFDs on TradeLocker. Its home page lists four ways to get funded: 1 Step, 2 Step, 3 Step and Instant. These come in “Hero” and “Villain” models, plus “Instant Elite”.
The firm says all trading in its environment is simulated and does not involve real financial transactions. Futures accounts are handled on a separate site, fundedherofutures.com. This review covers the CFD programmes on fundedhero.com and only briefly notes the futures offer.
We used only the firm's own website, rules pages and terms. The rules centre also lists pages for 2 Step Villain, 3 Step Villain, FastPass Hero, Instant Elite and Instant Villain. We did not save those pages, so we do not describe their rules here.
Everything in this review comes from Funded Hero's own web pages, saved on 7–9 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

The home page describes four ways to get funded. 1 Step is “One phase to funded” with a 10% target. 2 Step has targets of 8% and 5%. 3 Step has targets of 8%, 5% and 5%, which the firm calls the lowest targets per phase. Instant accounts have no evaluation and no profit target.
The home page says account sizes run from $2.5K to $200K. The plan selector on the same page also lists sizes from $1k to $400k. Our saved copy does not show which sizes apply to which model.
Prices are shown in the selector by model and size. In one saved copy it showed $1,557.00 for a $100k account, next to rules that match the Instant Hero rules page (70% split, no fee refund). Our copy did not show whether the fee is one-time or recurring. Promotions were running across the site when we checked; the refund FAQ says a challenge bought with a discount code is not eligible for a refund. Confirm the price at checkout.
| Programme | Profit target | Daily loss | Maximum loss | Profit split |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Hero | 10% | 4% | Static; the page gives 9% | 80% on payout 1, then 90% |
| 2-Step Hero | 8% (Phase 1), 5% (Phase 2) | The page gives 6% and 4% | Static; the page gives 10% | 80% → 90% → 95% → 100% (from payout 4) |
| 3-Step Hero | 8%, 5%, 5% | 6% in Phase 1 | 12% in Phase 1, static | 80% on payout 1, then 90% |
| 1-Step Villain | 12% | 3% | The page gives 9% and 8%, both static | 70% on payout 1, then 80% |
| Instant Hero | None (no evaluation) | 3% | 8%, static | 70% from the first payout |
The firm's Payout Policy page lists a different Instant Hero ladder (50%, then 70%, then 90%, with payout caps of 6%, 8% and 10%); we used the Instant Hero rules page.
Where a rules page gives two loss figures, our saved copy did not always make clear which stage (challenge or funded) each figure covers, so we show both. The 3-Step Hero page also gives a 5% daily loss figure and a 10% maximum loss below the starting balance; our copy did not show clearly which stage these cover. The firm says daily loss counts closed trades and open (floating) losses.
None of the programme pages we read sets a minimum number of trading days to pass. The 2-Step Hero page says you can pass in as little as one trading day. The home page says there are no time limits. However, each programme page also says you must place at least one trade every 15 days, and an account left unused for more than 15 days can be closed.
The trading day runs from 6:00 PM to 6:00 PM New York time (ET), and daily limits reset then.
| Programme | Consistency rule at payout | Minimum trade time | Profitable days before each payout | Payout cap per cycle |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1-Step Hero | No day above 50% of total profit | 1 minute | 5 days at +0.5% or more | 14% of starting balance |
| 2-Step Hero | No day above 50% of total profit | 1 minute | 5 days at +0.5% or more | 14% of starting balance |
| 3-Step Hero | No limit on profit from a single day | Not in our saved copy | 3 days at +0.5% or more | 14% of starting balance |
| 1-Step Villain | No day above 40% of total profit | 2 minutes | 5 days at +0.5% or more | 6% on payouts 1 and 2, then 14% |
| Instant Hero | No day above 20% of total profit | 1 minute | 5 days at +0.5% or more | 6% of balance on the first two payouts, then 8% |
Other rules from the pages we read:
News and weekends. Each programme page we read says you can trade through any high-impact news event (NFP, CPI, FOMC and more) and keep positions open over the weekend. The home page FAQ says weekend holding is allowed in every phase and on funded accounts.
EAs and bots. The 1-Step Hero, 3-Step Hero, 1-Step Villain and Instant Hero pages say EAs, scripts and automated strategies are allowed, as long as they follow every other rule. A separate FAQ on external bots and signals adds that FundedHero only allows strategies you personally control. It says copying signals from Telegram, EA libraries or MQL5 without ownership is not permitted.
Hedging. The firm's FAQ says hedging — opening both a buy and a sell on the same or mirrored asset (its example is EUR/USD and USD/CHF) — is not permitted.
Scaling programme conduct. The Elite Scaling Program page lists prohibited conduct including trade stacking to avoid the maximum risk-per-trade rule, account sharing or third-party account management, coordinated or mirrored trading across unauthorised accounts, and exploiting platform errors, pricing delays or execution issues.
Terms. The Terms and Conditions prohibit behaviour that distorts or manipulates the simulated trading environment, and say violations may result in immediate suspension or termination of the account.
The rules centre also has articles on copy trading, arbitrage or latency-based strategies, doubling lot size after a loss, and reverse trading. We did not save those pages, so check them before trading.
Frequency. Each programme page we read says you can request a payout every 14 days, counted from your first trade of the cycle, and that you need at least 1% profit in the cycle to request one. The home page FAQ instead says payouts are issued every 21, 14 or 10 days depending on the challenge and payout number. We used the programme pages.
Speed. The home page says payouts are on demand and “Guaranteed within 2 business days”, and the rules centre lists a 48-Hour Payout Guarantee article. The Terms and Conditions say payouts will be processed within “[7] business days after verification”, that payouts are entirely discretionary and not guaranteed, and that FundedHero may withhold, modify or deny any payout at its sole discretion.
Methods and fees. The payout methods page says FundedHero offers three payout methods; our saved copy names two: RISE and Straight to Broker (FHX Markets). There is no processing fee for payouts sent directly to FHX Markets, where they are credited to your FHX Markets trading account. The page also mentions a 5% processing fee charged by FundedHero; our saved copy does not show clearly which method it applies to. The Terms add that users are responsible for fees associated with receiving payouts.
Fee refunds. The 1-Step Hero, 2-Step Hero, 3-Step Hero and 1-Step Villain pages say you get your full challenge fee back: 50% with your first payout and 50% with your second. Instant accounts are not refundable. The refund FAQ adds that if a discount code was applied at checkout, the challenge is not eligible for a refund. The home page's general wording (“100% refundable evaluation fees”) does not mention this condition.
Profit split. The highest split on the CFD programmes is on 2 Step Hero, which the firm says reaches 100% from the 4th payout. Other splits are in the table above.
Elite Scaling Program. The firm's scaling page describes four levels: Hero Rising, Elite Hero, Hero Legend and FundedHero Elite. Capital increases run from 20% up to 100% (the page's example: a $100K account scales to $200K), and all increases are calculated from the original funded account size. Requirements listed on the page include periods on a Live Funded Account (2, 4, 6 and 9 months) and 4 approved payouts. The page lists profit splits of 90%, 95% and 100% across the levels, and one free challenge reset once every 12 months as a benefit. It says scaling may be delayed, modified, paused or reversed, and that any rule violation or payout denial may reset scaling eligibility.
The same page describes a Live+ Model “designed for proven traders”, where eligible Live+ traders may request payouts weekly. It lists terms including $50,000 initial trading capital, a 90% profit split, a 4% daily drawdown, an 8% maximum drawdown, a 1.5% floating drawdown limit, 2% maximum risk per trade and a 3% maximum daily profit.
The CFD accounts run on TradeLocker, which the firm says you can use on web and mobile. The home page lists CFDs on currencies, metals, indices and crypto. Instruments named in the lot-size rule include NAS100, US30, SPX500, GER40 and XAUUSD.
The firm's leverage page lists, by asset class: forex 1:40, indices 1:20, metals 1:30 and oil 1:10.
The home page also links to a partnered broker, FHX Markets, for trading directly. For paying challenge fees, the home page FAQ lists credit cards, bank transfers and cryptocurrencies such as Bitcoin and Ethereum.
Futures. The rules centre says FundedHero Futures rules, payouts and account types are on fundedherofutures.com. That site offers 1 Step, 2 Step or instant funding for futures, lists TradingView/DXFeed as the platform, uses an end-of-day trailing drawdown and advertises up to a 95% profit split. We did not review the futures rules in detail.
The Terms and Conditions name the company as “FundedHero”. We did not find an address or a regulatory statement in the pages we saved.
The Terms say FundedHero offers a simulated trading platform where users practise with virtual funds, that simulated funds cannot be withdrawn, transferred or exchanged for real currency or assets, and that FundedHero is not offering investment services, trading advice or financial products. The site-wide disclaimer says all trading is simulated and does not involve real financial transactions. The scaling page, however, lists “Trading Environment: Live market environment”, and several rules pages use the word “Live” in programme names.
On countries, the firm's FAQ says it accepts traders from most countries worldwide except a few sanctioned regions, and that you will be asked to confirm your location during registration or payout. We did not find a published list of restricted countries.
The firm says its support team is online 24/7 and usually replies within minutes.
Funded Hero may suit traders who want to use TradeLocker, trade through news and hold over weekends, and pass a challenge without a minimum number of days. The 1, 2 and 3 Step challenges refund the fee across the first two payouts, unless a discount code was used.
It suits less well traders who rely on very short trades (the pages we read set a 1–2 minute minimum trade time), who hedge, or who make most of their profit on a few large days, given the consistency rules and the $3,000 daily profit limit on funded accounts. Instant Hero skips the evaluation but pays 70% and is not refundable.

Funded Hero offers 1, 2 and 3 Step challenges and Instant accounts on TradeLocker, with news trading, weekend holding, static maximum loss and no minimum trading days on the challenge and Instant pages we read. Its funded accounts carry a $3,000 daily profit limit, minimum trade times, consistency rules and a hedging ban. Payout timing differs between the home page and the Terms, and fee refunds do not apply to Instant accounts or to purchases made with a discount code, so read the rules page for your programme before buying.

Find My MatchThe firm says all trading in its environment is simulated and does not involve real financial transactions. Its Terms say simulated funds cannot be withdrawn or exchanged for real currency.
Yes. The programme pages we read say you can trade through any high-impact news event and keep positions open over the weekend.
On 1, 2 and 3 Step challenges, the fee is refunded 50% with the first payout and 50% with the second. Instant accounts are not refundable, and a challenge bought with a discount code is not eligible for a refund.
The programme pages say every 14 days, counted from your first trade of the cycle, with at least 1% profit in the cycle. The home page FAQ mentions 21, 14 or 10 days depending on the challenge and payout number.
TradeLocker, on web and mobile, for the CFD accounts. The separate futures site lists TradingView/DXFeed.
The 1-Step Hero, 3-Step Hero, 1-Step Villain and Instant Hero pages say EAs, scripts and automated strategies are allowed if they follow every other rule. The firm also says it only allows strategies you personally control, and copying signals without ownership is not permitted.
