Funded Academy sells one-step and two-step evaluations. Traders who pass and clear identity checks can be given a funded account and a share of the profits. The firm says all trading takes place in a simulated environment with virtual funds, and that all accounts under its programmes are demo accounts.
Its FAQ gives a profit split of 85% for 1-Step accounts and 80% for 2-Step accounts, and says traders can raise this to 95% through consistent performance and scaling. The homepage says funded accounts can grow to $1,000,000. The website is operated by Funded Academy Ltd., which its footer places in Saint Lucia. Many FAQ answers were collapsed and not saved when we captured the site, so this review is shorter than most and leaves some topics open.
Everything in this review comes from Funded Academy's own web pages, saved on 7–9 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

The FAQ describes two challenge models: a 1-Step Challenge and a 2-Step Challenge. The homepage lists three choices (1 Step, 2 Step Standard and 2 Step Pro Flex) and a Swap / Swap Free option. The FAQ says all 1-Step accounts fall under the Standard category. The Terms say evaluations require a one-time fee that varies by programme, and that fees are in US dollars and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
The homepage programme table we saved showed one account at a time. The account shown had Phase 1 and Phase 2 targets, an 80% split, a 5% daily drawdown and 1:100 leverage, priced with swap. Those figures match what the FAQ gives for the 2-Step Standard account. We did not see prices for the 1-Step, Pro Flex or swap-free versions.
| Account size | Price (swap) |
|---|---|
| $5K | $49.99 |
| $10K | $89.99 |
| $25K | $209.99 |
| $50K | $289.99 |
| $100K | $566.99 |
| $200K | $1,080.99 |
The same table lists these rules for every size of that account:
| Rule | Value shown |
|---|---|
| Profit target (Phase 1 / Phase 2) | 7% then 5% |
| Profit split | 80% |
| Daily drawdown | 5% |
| Overall drawdown | 10% |
| Minimum trading days (for all phases) | 4 |
| Leverage | 1:100 |
| Overnight / weekend holding | Challenge phase only |
| News trading | 2 min |
| Performance reward | 2 weeks |
The table gives "2 min" for news trading and "2 weeks" for performance rewards without further explanation, and the FAQ answers on these topics were not saved. Above the table, the homepage says "No time limit" and "No consistency rule".
The FAQ gives some rules for each account type. These are the figures it states:
| Rule | 1-Step (Standard) | 2-Step Standard | 2-Step Pro Flex |
|---|---|---|---|
| Profit split | 85% | 80% (2-Step accounts) | 80% (2-Step accounts) |
| Daily drawdown | 4% | 5% (2-Step Challenge) | 5% (2-Step Challenge) |
| Leverage: forex | 1:30 | 1:100 | 1:50 |
| Leverage: indices | 1:5 | 1:15 | 1:7 |
| Leverage: crypto | 1:1 | 1:1 | 1:1 |
| Leverage: commodities | 1:10 | 1:15 | 1:7 |
| Overnight holding, funded phase | Not permitted | Not permitted | Allowed |
The FAQ says the leverage values apply to both challenge and funded accounts. It says breaching the daily drawdown limit fails the challenge. On overnight holding, it says this is permitted on all challenge accounts, Standard and Pro Flex, but on funded accounts only Pro Flex allows it.
The FAQ also lists questions on the overall or trailing drawdown, minimum trading days, weekend holding, stop losses, inactivity and the time limit. Their answers were not saved, so we do not describe those rules beyond the homepage table above.
The FAQ says hedging is not permitted under any circumstances. The Terms list practices that count as material violations and may lead to immediate termination of the account and forfeiture of benefits or rewards:
Automated or algorithmic trading software is permitted only with the firm's prior written approval, and approved software must be personally owned or developed by the trader. The Terms also say only one Account (the user dashboard) is allowed per user, and that account sharing, transfer or resale is prohibited. Using a VPN or proxy to get round regional restrictions is a material breach.
The homepage says "First performance reward on demand" and "Performance Rewards in 12 Hours", and elsewhere "Request performance rewards within 12 hours". Its programme table lists "2 weeks" for performance rewards on the account shown. The FAQ questions on the first payout, minimum payout, payout cycles, processing time and payout methods were not saved, so we cannot confirm how these statements fit together.
The homepage also says traders receive their funded account within 12 hours of clearing KYC. The Terms say identity verification may be required at any stage, and that passing an evaluation does not guarantee being offered a Trader role.
On scaling, the homepage says funded accounts can grow to $1,000,000, and the FAQ says the profit split can rise to 95% with consistent performance and successful scaling. The scaling FAQ answers, including the qualification requirements, were not saved.
The account deletion page says that deleting an account closes any active evaluation or funded accounts and forfeits any pending payout request.
The FAQ leverage table covers forex, indices, cryptocurrencies and commodities. The Terms say the firm's services include evaluations involving CFDs and futures contracts. The homepage refers to "platforms built for serious execution, on desktop and mobile" but our saved pages do not name a trading platform. The footer says trading platforms come from independent third-party technology providers.
The footer says the website is operated by Funded Academy Ltd. (Registration No. 2025-00736), at Office No. 2, Seaview Crescent, Cap Estate, Gros Islet, Saint Lucia. It says Funded Academy is not a broker, investment adviser, financial institution, custodian or exchange, and that fees paid are service fees, not deposits or investments. The About page names Sal Azad as Founder and CEO.
The Terms' section on the evaluation stages says the funds shown are fictitious and that "No profits generated during simulated trading are real or withdrawable". The Terms define Trading as instructions in simulated environments using fictitious funds. To be eligible, a user must be at least 18 (or the age of majority where they live), must "Not qualify as a retail trader", and must not live in or operate from a Forbidden Territory. The Terms also say the programmes are meant for people with prior trading knowledge and experience and are not designed for beginners. Separately, the site offers a free nine-lesson Academy primer.
The Terms list these Forbidden Territories: Afghanistan, Antigua and Barbuda, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belize, the Balkans, Bouvet Island, Burma (Myanmar), Burundi, Canada, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, Comoros, Cook Islands, Cuba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Fiji, Grenada, Hong Kong, Iran, Iraq, Lebanon, Libya, Malaysia, Mali, Myanmar, Nicaragua, North Korea, Russia, Somalia, South Sudan, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tuvalu, Ukraine (Crimea, Donetsk and Luhansk regions), United Kingdom, United States, Venezuela, Vietnam and Yemen.
Refunds. The Terms say evaluation fees are generally non-refundable and that placing any trade waives the right to a refund. A refund may be considered only if there has been no trading on the account, the request is made within seven calendar days of purchase, and the trader has fully complied with the Terms.
Support. The homepage says support is available 24/7 with an average response time under 3 minutes. The FAQ hub says the team replies within a few hours, and the Academy page says email replies come within 24 hours. Support is offered by email, Discord and a contact form.
Funded Academy may suit experienced traders, which is who its Terms say the programmes are for, who want a one-step or two-step evaluation with a one-time fee and who are not based in a restricted country, including the UK, the US and Canada. Traders who want to hold positions overnight once funded would need the 2-Step Pro Flex account, according to the FAQ. Traders who use hedging, copy trading or unapproved automated software would breach the firm's rules. Because many FAQ answers were not saved, read the payout, scaling and drawdown answers on the firm's site before buying.
