Overview

DayTraders.com sells simulated futures evaluations. After passing an evaluation, a trader can upgrade to a Pro account. It also offers Straight to Funded (S2F) accounts and a Straight to Live (S2L) programme that leads to live accounts. Its pages say evaluation and Pro accounts are simulated and do not involve real capital, while live funded accounts through the S2L programme involve real market execution.

The firm describes itself as "an evaluation company, not a direct funding firm" and says its services are exclusively for non-professional traders. Its pages give an address at 2300 W Sahara Ave. Suite 800, Las Vegas, Nevada 89102.

Our copies of the firm's pages are limited. We could not open its terms page, and we could not read a price list for evaluations or several rule tables. This review is therefore shorter than usual and covers only what we could read.

Everything in this review comes from DayTraders.com's own web pages, saved on 10 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Key Highlights

✅ Pros

  • Pro accounts carry a 100% simulated profit split, according to the payout guide.
  • The Pro account activation fee is a one-time $5.
  • The evaluation rules allow holding positions overnight and over the weekend, subject to mark-to-market adjustments.
  • Bots, custom algorithms and AI tools are allowed if they are not high-frequency trading and follow the rules.
  • Live plan rules are published per plan, with an 80/20 split and daily payouts.

❌ Cons

  • We could not see a price list for evaluations, S2F or S2L accounts.
  • Evaluation, Pro, data and additional login session fees are not refundable.
  • Consistency limits are stated for the evaluation (50%), Pro (30%) and S2F (20%), plus a minimum daily profit for a day to count; the evaluation rules page also says that for some accounts "Consistency is not required, only the minimum daily profit applies".
  • The firm says promotion to live is not guaranteed and that it transitions around 1% of sim funded traders; its "Who are DayTraders" page also refers to a "maximum 6 (six) payouts across any number of Pro Accounts".
  • Only simulated futures may be traded; spot forex, CFDs, individual stocks, options and crypto are prohibited.
  • Its disclosures say it offers no real-money trading accounts while also describing live funded accounts with real market execution.

Programmes and Prices

The help centre says DayTraders.com offers evaluation accounts with either a trailing drawdown or a static structure, in different sizes. Its drawdown guide also describes EOD (end-of-day trailing) accounts. A Pro account keeps the same metrics as the evaluation account it came from.

S2F (Straight to Funded) accounts are for traders who want immediate access to a sim funded environment, with the same trading structure as Pro accounts. S2L (Straight to Live) is described as a single evaluation followed by a direct move to a live trading account after qualification. The firm says qualification is not guaranteed.

Prices. The homepage says "One standard price. A flat $5 activation fee." The products page shows "$0 To start trading"; our copy does not show what this covers or what is charged later. The Pro account activation page lists a one-time activation fee of $5, with rows for sizes including 25k and 300k. Once the activation fee is paid, the evaluation account is closed and the Pro account is opened, and the page says it is activated within 30 minutes. We could not see a price list for evaluations, S2F accounts or S2L, so we do not state one. The live accounts page lists the activation fee for all three live plans as free.

Refunds and changes. The refunds page says the firm does not offer refunds for evaluation fees, Pro account fees, data fees or additional login session fees. No refund is given if an incorrect account type or plan is selected. Account type, size and market data provider cannot be changed once a purchase is finalised.

Account limits. A trader can hold up to 15 evaluation accounts at a time and up to 15 funded accounts in total, of which no more than 5 can be S2F accounts.

Free demo. The products page advertises "100% Free Demo Trading · No card required" and says the demo resets daily. The How it works page says traders can climb the DT-Games leaderboard and win real cash prizes.

Evaluation Rules

The evaluation needs a minimum of 2 trading days to pass. Each trading day must meet a minimum simulated profit threshold based on account size, and days below it do not count toward the 2-day requirement. We could not read the threshold amounts.

During the evaluation there is a 50% consistency rule: no trading day can be larger than 50% of the total simulated profits. The same page also says that for some accounts "Consistency is not required, only the minimum daily profit applies"; our copy does not show which accounts this covers. Once the account has passed, the rules page tells traders to stop trading immediately, because falling below the profit target could void the passed status.

We could not read a full profit target table; the drawdown guide gives "$53,000 for a 50k account" as an example of the profit target level.

All accounts need minimum trading days within each rolling 30-day cycle to remain active, and each counted day must meet the minimum daily profit for the account size. The rules page mentions both "minimum 1 trading day within each 30-day billing cycle" and "4 trading days" to keep an account active and in good standing; our copy does not show which accounts each applies to.

Drawdown types

TypeHow it worksExample given
Full (real-time trailing)Full accounts use a trailing drawdown that follows the Auto Liquidate Peak Balance, including both open and closed PnL.See note below
Static (fixed)The drawdown stays fixed and does not change with account performance.100k: $1,500, balance may not go below $98,500
EOD (end-of-day trailing)A trailing drawdown that updates once per day.Not shown in our copy

The drawdown guide also gives the example "Drawdown: $2,500 → Threshold starts at $47,500" and a table row of "50k" with "-$2500"; our copy does not show which drawdown type the example refers to.

According to the drawdown guide, on trailing accounts the trailing stops in an evaluation when the threshold reaches the profit target, and in a Pro account when it reaches the initial account balance. A shorter product article instead says the trailing drawdown continues until the Liquidation Threshold equals the initial account balance, without separating evaluation and Pro accounts; we follow the more specific drawdown guide. The drawdown type cannot be changed once an account is created. All accounts must stay above their threshold at all times to remain active.

The payout guide says qualifying days must be completed during the payout cycle, and a qualifying day is one that meets the minimum daily profit for the account size and runs from 6:00 PM ET to 5:00 PM ET the next day. The minimum daily profit requirement also applies to funded accounts.

To qualify for a payout from a Pro or S2F account, the payout guide says a trader must reach the profit target required for the account size and cycle. We could not read the target amounts.

The payout guide says: "Enjoy a 100% simulated profit split in your Pro account." The products page says there is a 100% profit split on sim funded accounts.

Restrictions and Prohibited Strategies

  • High-frequency trading is prohibited on all accounts. The firm's examples include latency-based strategies, millisecond order execution and order spamming.
  • Trading bots, custom algorithms and AI tools are allowed as long as they do not operate as high-frequency trading and follow all account rules. Trades placed by such tools count as the trader's own account activity, and the firm does not support custom tools.
  • Hedging is not allowed at any point during the evaluation. The funded rules page also prohibits being long in one account and short in another.
  • DCA is allowed during both the evaluation and Pro account phases.
  • News trading is "not recommended", and the instrument list tells traders to avoid news-directional or multi-directional strategies. We did not see a stated time window around news releases.
  • The evaluation rules page says traders may hold positions through market close, overnight or over the weekend. Positions held beyond 4:59 PM ET are subject to mark-to-market adjustments, and an account fails if those adjustments take it to the drawdown. The firm does not close positions at 4:59 PM ET; the trader is responsible.
  • Sharing login information is not allowed, and identity fraud, payment fraud or account sharing leads to removal from the platform.
  • Trading anything other than the approved simulated futures, including spot forex, CFDs, individual stocks, options and cryptocurrencies, is prohibited and may lead to account suspension or termination.

Payouts and Progression to Live

For Pro and S2F accounts, the minimum payout request is $500, in increments of $500. Payouts approved before 5:00 PM ET reflect the same day. Traders set up a payout provider such as Plane. The payout amount is deducted from the account balance. If an account is blown after a payout request, the payout is honoured only if it was approved before the breach.

The How it works page says the maximum payout per cycle is $75,000, achievable across 15 $300K funded accounts.

The firm's "Who are DayTraders" page refers to a "maximum 6 (six) payouts across any number of Pro Accounts on 6 (six) separate dates". The same page says: "Once you graduate, your trades will be evaluated to determine if they qualify for a live trading account."

The firm says there is no guaranteed promotion to live, and that it currently transitions around 1% of traders who come through the sim funded programme. If a trader is moved to live during a payout and total payouts exceed $10,000, 50% of the payout is sent to the payout method. The funded rules page adds that "At minimum, 50% of your payout will be your MLL in live"; the page does not define MLL in our copy.

The payout guide says U.S. traders receive a 1099-NEC form by 31 January and non-U.S. traders do not receive tax forms.

Live Accounts

The live accounts page lists three plans: LIVE CORE, LIVE EDGE and LIVE ULTRA.

The live plan table also lists daily loss limits of $1,000, $1,750 and $3,250, total drawdowns of $2,000, $4,500 and $7,000, and contract limits of 1 [10 Micros], 2 [20 Micros] and 3 [30 Micros] across the three plans.

All live accounts operate on an 80/20 profit split, with 80% of profits going to the trader. Live accounts require a $1,000 buffer above the initial balance. Live payouts are processed daily between 5:00 and 6:00 PM ET, requests can be made at any time through the trader dashboard, and the page says there are no payout limits.

The page also says the drawdown will lock and convert to a static level; we could not read when this happens. It also lists changes that can apply to live accounts: increasing contract size by one, converting the daily loss limit to a percentage of start-of-day balance and, in certain cases, removing the daily loss limit. We could not read the conditions for these steps. A trader whose live account fails can return by passing a new S2L evaluation, with no cooldown period.

Platforms and Markets

ArcTrader is the firm's own browser-based platform with TradingView charts. The products page also describes "A browser-based futures platform connected directly to Rithmic". Traders choose their trading platforms and a market data provider at checkout, and each account can connect to different platforms. The evaluation rules page tells holders of Rithmic accounts to keep rTrader Pro open to monitor their max drawdown.

For live accounts, the firm provides an ONYX platform licence; Quantower can be used but a full licence is not provided; NinjaTrader and Tradovate are not supported.

Only simulated futures contracts listed on approved exchanges may be traded; the exchanges named include the Chicago Mercantile Exchange (CME) and the Commodity Exchange (COMEX). The instrument list mentions equity, agricultural, energy and currency futures. Trading is possible up to 23 hours a day, from 6 PM to 4:59 PM ET the next day. An order on an instrument that is not allowed is rejected without penalty. Traders may trade on holidays when the market is open, but half-day holidays do not count as trading days.

Company and Terms

The site gives the address 2300 W Sahara Ave. Suite 800, Las Vegas, Nevada 89102, and its privacy page says the site is controlled from offices within the United States of America. DayTraders.com says it does not provide financial advice.

The firm's disclosures say evaluation and Pro accounts are simulated and do not involve real capital. The same pages also say "We do not offer real-money trading accounts, and no actual funds are deposited with or traded through our platform", while describing S2L live funded accounts that involve real market execution. They also say Pro Level Accounts referenced on the site may consist of simulated, live or mirrored trading accounts. We report these statements as written; we could not open the firm's terms page to see how it reconciles them.

The firm says the evaluation is intentionally challenging and is not recommended for individuals with little or no trading experience. It also says all income figures on its site are hypothetical illustrations that assume consistent profitability, and that most traders do not achieve consistent profits.

We did not find a published list of restricted countries.

Who It Suits

DayTraders.com is aimed at non-professional futures traders. Its rules may suit traders who want a 2-day minimum to pass, a one-time $5 Pro activation fee and a 100% simulated profit split on Pro accounts, and who can work within the stated consistency limits of 50% in the evaluation and 30% (Pro) or 20% (S2F) when funded. Traders who rely on hedging across accounts or on high-frequency strategies will find them prohibited. Traders aiming for live capital should note the firm's own statement that promotion is not guaranteed.
