Overview

Bitfunded describes itself as “a crypto native prop trading firm”. A trader pays an entry fee, passes an evaluation (or skips it on Instant Funding) and then trades a simulated funded account, keeping a share of the simulated profits. Its FAQ says everything happens “in a simulated environment on live market data from partner exchanges” and that “The profit share we pay out is real USDT.”

The FAQ lists four account types: 2-Step Challenge, 1-Step Challenge, 1-Step Express and Instant Funding. The home page also shows a time-limited “Day Trader” challenge that the FAQ does not list. The FAQ says trading takes place “on a trading platform we built and run ourselves”, with over 100 crypto pairs and 20 traditional (TradFi) pairs.

Bitfunded’s pages disagree with each other on a number of rules, including the maximum account size, minimum trading days, open-position limits, payout frequency, payout processing time and the entry-fee refund. We set these out below. The FAQ says its full rules sit in a user guide on GitBook and that the guide prevails if the two disagree; that guide did not load when we saved it, so we could not check it.

Everything in this review comes from Bitfunded's own web pages, saved on 11 October 2026. Rules and prices change, so check the firm's site before you buy.

Programmes and Prices

The FAQ lists four account types. The 2-Step Challenge has two evaluation stages and, per the FAQ, “the most drawdown room”. The 1-Step Challenge has one stage. 1-Step Express has one stage and, in the FAQ’s words, “the lowest entry cost and the tightest risk”. Instant Funding has no evaluation.

The FAQ says there are seven account sizes, “from 5,000 up to 150,000 USDT”: Base, Starter, Skilled, Intermediate, Advanced, Expert and Apex. The home page tabs show different ranges by programme: the 2 Steps tab lists Base ($5,000) to Expert ($100,000), the 1 Step tab adds Apex ($150,000), and the Instant tab lists Kickstart ($2,500), Base ($5,000) and Starter ($10,000). The Terms of Use list 1 Step and 2 Steps levels from $5,000 to $150,000, but also say a CPTC graduate manages a funded Demo account “with up to ONE HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS ($100,000)”, and the home page says traders get simulated capital “of up to $100,000 USDT”.

The home page also shows a “Day Trader” tab: a challenge of 1, 2, 4 or 8 hours, where the trader chooses an entry fee and a “Payout Boost” of 2X to 5X, and “Targets Change based on the time limit & multiplier selected.” The FAQ does not include this product in its four types, and we found no rules for it beyond the home page.

Prices. We do not list entry fees in this review. The home page shows a fee for each account size and the Terms of Use contain a fee schedule, but neither page states whether the figures are the regular price or a promotional price, and the two disagree for the 1-Step $150,000 account. The Terms describe the fee as one that “must be paid upon registration”; none of the saved pages describes it as one-time or as monthly, and we saw no activation fee mentioned. Check the current fee at checkout.

Payment, per the FAQ, is by crypto (USDT on ERC-20, BEP-20 and TRC-20) or by credit and debit card through payment partners. The Terms say only one promotion can be applied to a purchased challenge.

Trading Rules

Drawdown. The FAQ describes both limits as fixed percentages of the starting balance. The daily loss limit “resets every day” and is measured against the day, not the account total. The maximum loss limit “doesn’t move for the life of the challenge”: on a 100,000 USDT account with a 10% maximum loss, the account fails only if equity touches 90,000 USDT. The FAQ does not say these work differently by programme.

Floating losses count. The FAQ says the daily figure is “your realised loss for the day plus the floating loss on everything you have open”, and that a breach at any moment disqualifies the account automatically. The trading day resets at 00:00 UTC+8. Breaching the maximum loss disqualifies the account straight away; breaching the daily loss limit closes open positions and disqualifies the account.

Time limits and trading days. The FAQ says none of the four account types has a time limit or a minimum number of trading days, and that there is no inactivity rule. The Terms of Use list “Minimum Trading Days: 5” for each 1 Step and 2 Steps stage. The home page 2 Steps table shows minimum trading days as 0 for both stages. We have followed the FAQ, which is the more detailed page, but the conflict remains.

Moving between stages. The home page says “To proceed to the next stage, all positions must be closed”. After Stage 1 of the 2-Step, the FAQ says Bitfunded creates the Stage 2 account automatically.

Leverage and costs. The FAQ gives leverage of “1x to 5x”; the home page and Terms say up to 1:5. Trading fees, per the FAQ, are 0.04% of position size to open and 0.04% to close.

Instant Funding differences. The FAQ says Instant Funding has a 60% split, one payout a month, 5% profit required from the second payout onward, no single pair making up 60% or more of net profit in a period, and a margin-concentration threshold of 55% instead of 65%.

More than one account. The FAQ says there is no limit on how many challenges a trader buys and that several funded accounts can be held at once, “but only one per account size”. The Terms say one active account per challenge level unless the company gives written consent. The home page note says “Users may only trade one account at a time.”

Restrictions and Prohibited Strategies

The FAQ says its “Restricted Trading Practices” apply to all four account types and are checked before a payout. It lists as not allowed:

  • Hedging, covering opposite positions on the same asset and coordinated trading across accounts
  • Bots, Expert Advisors, scripts and API automation; every trade must be placed manually by the account holder
  • Copy or mirrored trading between accounts
  • More than one User Profile per person

VPNs are “Allowed, but discouraged”, as they can trigger an account integrity review.

Limits in the FAQ:

  • Position holding: 10 days on major crypto, 7 on minor crypto, 5 on traditional pairs
  • Margin concentration: up to 65% combined exposure (55% on Instant Funding)
  • Open positions: 5 at a time
  • Minimum activity per payout period: 2 closed trades (3 on Instant Funding), each open at least 10 minutes

Where the Terms of Use differ. The Terms set a single 10-calendar-day holding limit for any position and allow “no more than 10 open trades at the same time”, against the FAQ’s 5. They also prohibit, among other things, front-running, exploiting pricing or platform errors or latency, “Using third-party or marketed strategies to pass assessment challenges”, trading equity CFDs at the end of the trading day to profit from market gaps, arbitrage between accounts, and switching strategies between assessment and funded accounts. The Terms say a first violation found in the Live Stage after a withdrawal request brings a 50% penalty on the withdrawable profit.

News and weekends. The FAQ says there is no weekend restriction, though holding limits still apply. On news, the only statement we found is in the short FAQ on the home page and the About Us page, which says traders “can trade during weekends, news events, or however you prefer” and that there are “no restrictions on trading style or strategy”. That home page wording conflicts with the restrictions in the main FAQ and the Terms.

Payouts

Split. The FAQ gives 80% on 2-Step, 1-Step and 1-Step Express funded accounts and 60% on Instant Funding. The home page refers to “an 80/20 split”. The Terms of Use say traders may retain “up to NINETY PERCENT (90%)” in one clause; the same page also gives an initial split of 80:20. The Terms define a “Scaling Plan” term, but the saved pages give no details of one.

Profit Sharing Day. The FAQ says the trader sets the payout day from the dashboard, “anywhere between 2 and 60 days”, and can move it up to three times per 30-day period. The Terms give a window of 5 to 60 days.

Frequency. On 2-Step, 1-Step and 1-Step Express, the FAQ allows up to 2 payouts per 30 days on the same challenge and up to 5 per 30 days across different challenges; after 10 payouts in total, it becomes one a month. Instant Funding has one payout a month from the start. The Terms say “a maximum of three payouts every 30 days using the same Challenge ID”.

Processing time. The FAQ says requests are reviewed and processed “within 24 hours on working days”; the home page says “within 24 hours”. The Terms commit to processing within 14 days and also mention receipt within 4 days.

Method and checks. Payouts are in USDT on the ERC-20, BEP-20 and TRC-20 networks. The Terms require KYC verification once cumulative profit reaches $10,000. A disqualified challenge forfeits all withdrawal rights, according to the FAQ.

Entry-fee refund. The FAQ says only the 2-Step Challenge refunds the entry fee, paid with the third successful payout in the Trader Stage and only if there is no rule violation; 1-Step, Express and Instant Funding fees are not refundable. The Refund and Cancellation Policy instead says users who complete both evaluation phases and reach their first profit split day get a full refund of the challenge fee. The Terms also mention a full refund on reaching the first profit split day. We have described the FAQ version, as it is the most specific by programme, but the pages conflict.

Platforms and Markets

The FAQ says Bitfunded uses its own trading platform, with mobile apps on the App Store and Google Play as well as a web version. It lists over 100 crypto pairs and 20 TradFi pairs; the home page shows “100+” cryptocurrencies and “20+” TradFi. The FAQ says the list is kept on the platform and changes over time. The Markets page we saved showed no instrument list.

The FAQ says chart drawings and indicators are not yet saved between sessions. The dashboard shows balance, equity, profit and progress against target, and a Trader Hub gives further statistics.

Company and Terms

The Terms of Use name the company as Tronovix LTD and describe BitFUNDED as “a legally recognised limited Liability proprietary trading firm in the United Arab Emirates (UAE)”. The Terms are governed by the laws of Ras Al Khaimah and the UAE, with disputes going to mediation and then arbitration at the RAK Arbitration Centre.

The About Us page says Bitfunded began in crypto prop trading in 2023, was founded by a team with over 9 years of crypto experience “in partnership with CoinW”, and has its headquarters in the UAE. That page says its UAE base allows it “to have solid regulation backing us”; it does not name a regulator or a licence.

The Terms say traders must be at least 18. We did not find a list of restricted countries on the saved pages.

The Terms say Bitfunded may change fees and parameters at any time, but changes do not affect services already purchased.

Who It Suits

Based on the firm’s own pages, Bitfunded is aimed at traders who want to trade crypto, with some traditional pairs, by hand on a proprietary platform. It does not suit traders who use bots, Expert Advisors or API automation, hedge, or copy trades between accounts. Traders who hold positions for long periods need to watch the holding limits, and anyone who keeps many positions open needs to check the open-position limit, which the FAQ and Terms state differently.

⚖️ Our Verdict

Bitfunded offers four simulated account types in its FAQ, with an 80% split on its evaluation accounts and 60% on Instant Funding, and bans automation, hedging and copy trading. Its pages give conflicting figures for minimum trading days, open positions, payout frequency, payout timing and the fee refund, and the user guide it says takes priority did not load for us, so traders should confirm the rules for their programme before buying.
